It's the unofficial end of summer.

Let's have a bit of fun in the midst of all the turmoil we have had this year and the turmoil upcoming with kids returning to school in masks or whatever other bizarre whatnot comes up.

Give a shout out to fellow Freepers whose screennames, taglines, and/or "About" pages you have enjoyed, laughed at, drawn inspiration from, or found thought-provoking.

He was just MIA for a few months, but someone finally confirmed that he died. I run his URL at wayback machine on my homepage, his actual site got badly hacked for a long time.

Lighten up .There are tens of thousands of us. Some are nice, some are mean. Some are jerks, some are dopes, some are old fart fools, some are top notch human beings. You get a group of 50000 or more together, the more the group starts to stray from the ideal. Not all freepers are Rush Limbaugh or Thomas Sowell here. Some peddle stupid conspiracy theories that go nowhere, some post stories that entertain and inform. Some are complete tools and fools. Some are secretly the ones who are actually accomplishing something for the cause. Some have ben here almost 25 years, some are johnny come lately-s who are still learning about the place.

Yes but common sense is the least common of all. Between moving and different computers I've had four screen names in 20 years because I lost the sign-ins I wrote down and the mods couldn't hook me back up. Was 'NewRome Tacitus' longer than anything but eventually realized Tacitus was FAR more intelligent.

What struck you about that "Tripping the Rift" character to adopt that name? He struck me as a precursor to Bender but memory serves poorly.

Great definitive collection! Taglines are truly an art form - the best entertain while imparting useful observations. Here's a few of my attempts:

"Take the Blue Pill for E.D. ("election denialism"). The Red Pill expired 01-20-21."
"Those who see all through racism-colored glasses need but look in a mirror."
"I propose a Coalition of Conservative Christian Patriots - the CCCP! Huh, what? Oh...never mind."
"First Rule of Fraud Club is punish any talk about Fraud Club."

And this, in poor taste yet likely true:
