Good pie crust recipe!!
2 Tips:
Replace 3 Tbsp of water w/Vodka
(The Vodka evaporates during cooking
making the crust tender & flaky)
Also the less U touch the dough the better.
Our hands warm up dough & make it tough.
I refrigerate for 1/2 hr. Before rolling.
U did not say any of sugar & salt
(I use 3 Tbsp. of Sugar)
*Hate* when that happens!
Thank you to everyone that prayed for my husband. He is doing much better this morning. He was able to have a bowel movement, so that in itself is a step in the right direction.

Stars that recipe sounds like what I remember my husband using. He made the best pies and crust. His mother ran a restaurant and taught him.
He said the trick is to use ice cold water and cut the Crisco in and don’t over work.
I never made pies from scratch as I can’t stand the feel of sticky dough.

I just heard this, FWIW.
I learned to dismiss all the pie-in-the-sky musings of some, even though I completely understood and shared their desires. I got very, very disappointed when I kept hearing that something other than what happened was going to happen.....ships being there for kids coming from tunnels, that Evergreen ship was trapped intentionally and unloading victims of sex trafficking, the whole thing about GESARA or some such speculation that the corporation of the USA would go bankrupt.....all that Simon Parkes Charlie Ward storytelling.
I always thought if anything was going to get the world out of this mess, it might be election fraud being exposed. That was something tangible, even though I don’t know what can be done. In any case, I got a little bit of hope back when I heard the president in this clip. Nothing to base it on, it just made me smile.
