“Fox News DELETED President Trump’s words:”

I recall recently Dan Bongino said he has to be careful about saying certain words. “Voter Fraud” was one of them or YouTube would take Fox off their platform.

I don’t know about the rest of you but it is OK with me if they omit a few words in order to remain on YouTube. That is where I find a lot of Fox programs when I can’t catch it live.

Besides we ALL know it was voter fraud.

About 3. I stopped driving when I realized when I was at home that mom, who was already disabled at that time, was no longer doing things she normally did around the house. About 5 years after that she was diagnosed with lung cancer and died 2 months later.

I suspect she had the cancer back when I was driving, but we didn’t know it.

It does appear to be the case. It looks like the message of the term was to be dismissed. Which makes it even funnier! LOL

On sailing ships signals were given to the crew by sounding the boatswain’s (bo’sun’s) pipe. One such was ‘piping down the hammocks’ which was the signal to go below decks and retire for the night. When an officer wanted a sailor to be dismissed below he would have him ‘piped down’. This usage is recorded in Royal Navy workbooks from the 18th century; for example, Gillespie’s Advice to Commanders & Officers, 1798:

“At four o’clock, P.M. the hammocks should regularly be piped down.”

There’s no unequivocal link between this naval practice and the ‘be quiet’ meaning. It could well have derived from the fact that, if there was a disturbance onboard ship, officers could quell it by sending the crew below decks, that is, by piping them down. This notion is supported by records of ship’s crew’s being told to ‘pipe down’ rather than signalled to by the use of an actual pipe; for example, this report from The Gettysburg Star And Banner, April 1850:

‘I don’t care what happens to me now!’ wept Peter, going among the crew, with blood-shot eyes, as he put on his shirt. ‘I have been flogged once, and they may do it again, if they will. ‘Let them look out for me now’. ‘Pipe down!’ cried the Captain, and the crew slowly dispersed.

But the plants look beautiful. I know it’s disappointing when you’re wanting fresh veggies, maybe it just takes a little longer?

I am glad someone is bringing it together. Doing nothing isn’t a smart option at this point.

Just thinking out loud here, but I know around here (where we know a thing or two about heat!), things like cukes, zucchini and tomatoes don’t do very well with producing veggies when it’s very hot. I bet that excessive heat you had earlier this summer did them in.

Kinda like in the spring, where the ground temp has to be so warm or the seed just sits and rots.

The reason Fox News doesn’t talk about the stolen 2020 election or vaccine propaganda isn’t because they fear YouTube and Facebook censorship, though that would happen if they talked about either subject. They don’t fear Dominion Voting Systems and their weak lawsuits, though Fox News and others use that as their excuse for not allowing certain topics to be discussed on their shows. The real reason is clear: Fox News was, is, and will continue to be part of the disinformation campaigns on these and other subjects.

Conservatives often turn to Fox News for their “right-leaning” perspectives, but here’s the thing. Fox News is 100% controlled opposition. Sure, they get all bent out of shape over most actions the Democrats take and they often engage in “owning the libs” for their hypocrisy on most issues, but this is all being done for the sake of keeping patriots tuned into them and not any alternatives that are discussing taboo topics.

That’s not to say everyone at Fox News is bad. Tucker Carlson and a handful of others seem to be more independent and are willing to branch out into these topics from time to time, but even they are coerced by the network to keep them from busting open the truly important news.

As for Bongino, he claims he was unaware of the edits and I believe him. It’s important to understand that Fox News will blindside their own employees with stuff like this in hopes that nobody notices. But we noticed. Others did, too. And Bongino isn’t happy that he wasn’t informed.

Bongino isn’t happy that he wasn’t informed.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

.

.

No reflection on Bongino, but maybe stuff like that is why Fox has already lost so many former viewers/followers.

I can't recall the last time I watched them. Don't miss 'em a bit. Now I've just got validation of that low opinion.

“....things like cukes, zucchini and tomatoes don’t do very well with producing veggies when it’s very hot.”

That very well could be but we do have pretty hot weather every summer but just not this long of time.

I am thinking even though I had SOME bees (not like in the past) on my Lavender, I never saw any around my tomato flowers etc to pollenate them. But do they have to be pollenated that I don’t know and I am to tired to look it up now. :-)

Bye the way I like the info you looked up on “Pipe down”

“Tomatoes and other edible plants are self-pollinating because the flowers have both male and female reproductive parts. One tomato plant can easily produce on its own, without you having to plant another. However, poor pollination may occur due to high temperatures and too much humidity.”

Is it still unseasonably hot?
