Why did Trump nominate Brett Kavanaugh to SCOTUS?? Kavanaugh was lead investigator in Vince Foster case and covered it up, meaning he was COMPROMISED when Trump picked him, but NOT because of the rape allegations; it was something much worse.

Kavanaugh is awful. Trump was at the mercy of taking advice and guidance from people (nature of the job since he couldn’t do it all) and alot of that guidance came from REALLY crappy people. McConnell is a big one; he gave all kinds of references for judges and looks at the 3 awful ones we got!! Kavanaugh, gorsuch AND Barrett are terrible. Truly terrible. There’s been a few other federal judges Trump picked that have ruled against us on cases.
Pence was no better in referrals; look at the complete trainwreck of farci! That came from Pence.
ACB is going to be a solid constitutional Judge.

President Trump chose ALL of his candidates from a well-regarded list of candidates compiled by a Conservative organization. Everyone knew who was on that list. I don’t recall this guy or ANY Conservatives calling any of the judges on that list out for any reason. MMQB’ing is so easy.
It simply appears that with the occasional exception so-called Conservative judges are spineless pansies.

Facts: Kavanaugh was the lead investigator in the Vince Foster case after Miguel Rodriguez RESIGNED because he saw cover-up.
Patrick Knowlton was a key witness who was AT FORT MARCY PARK as Foster’s body lay dead (Knowlton stopped to go to the bathroom). Knowlton testified that while he was at the park, FOSTER’S CAR WASN’T THERE. How can that be if Foster drove himself to the park to commit suicide.
Knowlton was a MAJOR problem for Kavanaugh.
Kavanaugh sent FBI Goons to Harass Knowlton prior to the latter testifying in front of a grand jury.
During that testimony, Kavanaugh implied that Knowlton was at Fort Marcy Park for a homosexual encounter.
If, as the evidence overwhelmingly suggests, Kavanaugh covered up the Vince Foster murder, he was SEVERELY COMPROMISED when Trump picked him.
That has NOTHING to do with any sexual assault allegations against him; his role in Foster case is much worse.

I'll entertain the premise. It might also explain why a FBI hostile to Trump basically dismissed the allegations against Kavanaugh. Not that I believe any of the embarrassing parade of harpies the left trotted out. I don't. But they would have a vested interest in getting "one of their own" onto the SCOTUS, even if, to the rest of the world, it would temporarily look like a "win" for Trump.
ACB graduated at the top of her class in high school. She graduated at the top of her class at Rhodes college (nationally ranked the top 50) and she graduated at the top of her class in Notre Dame Law School.
Barrett clerked for Justice Antonin Scalia from 1998 to 1999
The entire staff at Notre Dame Law School recommended her for her appointment to the SC. The entire staff, D’s, R’s and I’s all recommended her.
Barrett is going to be a great Justice.
the way you know its a pay off is when there is a big advance that does not match the potential for royalties.
Trump nominated Kavanaugh because Justice Kennedy told him he would not step down unless he nominated his old law clerk Kavanaugh. So it was nominate Kavanaugh or have Kennedy retire when a Democrat was in office. I don’t think Kavanaugh is particularly good but he’s a damn site better than anybody the Democrats would have nominated. Trump had no choice here.
Don’t blame Gorsuch, when same sex marriage and sodomy were legalized where was no choice but to extend civil rights protections to homosexuals.
Anyone that thinks Barrett is weak never watched Barrett at her confirmations hearings.
So nominate a guy who covered up a murder?
At some point, we have to say no to these kinds of politics.
