A 2014 Harvard study found that men who did twenty minutes of daily weight training had less of an increase in age-related abdominal fat compared with men who spent the same amount of time doing aerobic activities, and other studies have shown similar levels of success when guys hit the gym to cut down on fat. The implication: Guys can cut belly fat most efficiently with weight training.
Consistency is key in the weight room. Try to stick to a plan that has you exercising at least three days a week, using as many compound movements (think squats, presses, and deadlifts) as possible. There are tons of great fat burning exercises to choose from — or you can begin by trying this simple interval routine.

Bingo. I fast twice week and lost belly fat
Ditch sugar as much as possible....you will lose weight.
Well, I guess I’ll go early, but at least I’ll be happy.
have to have a bottom end intestinal surgery done, that is not a rush. Doctor explained if I lose 40 lbs (most belly fat) the recovery will be minimal, Doing it now, would be troublesome and in bed for a while to keep the load off the bottom end.
The incentive works so far 20lbs since July 1.
The other thing the doctor said at that beginning weight I’m equivalent to carrying triplets(I’m a guy), and having the problems some one would expect to have with triplets. That explanation hit home. See how it pans out. Hope to be barely showing with one kid shortly.

My grandmother was morbidly obese for over 40 years and lived to almost 90. I’ve said every day she lived set medical science back 20 years. I don’t believe anything these “experts” say.

The only way to lose weight is to take in fewer calories than you consume. All the rest is crap.
A guy I know lost around 60-80 pounds on a strict diet of water, meat (steaks, chicken or hamburger patties), hard liquor and vegetables excluding potatoes. No beer, no wine, no breads, no pasta, no potatoes, no rice, no cookies, no cakes, no candy, no sodas.
Visceral fat goes first...

It’s the sugar. It screws with the insulin which builds vitreous fat in yer gut.
When I heard about intermittent fasting, I just surfed the web and put the following together.
3 regimens
* 14 hour fast, 10 hours eating window
Slowest, but easiest.
* 16 hour fast, 8 hours eating window
Faster weight loss
* 20 hours fast, 4 hours eating window
Fastest weight loss.
Eat whatever you want during the eating window, but only until you’re satisfied.
Do not over eat.
Once a week, have a 500 calorie day.
For me, that’s a cup of plain, unflavored Fage Greek yogurt with about 15 grams of honey, and some fresh berries mixed in, and two slices of buttered toast.
Start your morning with a cup of black, unsweetened coffee or tea to kickstart your metabolism.
Drink lots of water. 32 oz per day minimum.
If you get hungry during your fast, brush your teeth.
Remember, you should sleep for 8 hours of your fasting time. If needed, use non-chemical sleep aids, like sleep meditation audio or video. I find that I need a bedtime story, sometimes, like physics lectures.
Couple more things.
I did the 16 hour fast with 8 hours eating window.
It’s really just skipping breakfast. But my big meal is lunch, and my light meal is dinner. I don’t go to bed hungry.
Always complainers.
When I was around 19 and delivering pizzas for an independent place (the owner’s mom made the true Italian sauce in her kitchen and I picked it up each day-—someone told me later that was illegal of them) we had a little hand made sign next to the phone “Yeah, yeah, I know, hold the anchovies.”
I got the delivery job in response to an ad. The delivery guy before me quit on the spot after he was robbed with a knife held to his throat. This was in Detroit.
Funny:
I’m eating a pint of ice cream every night, followed by a single, quality IPA, and I’m fast on track to reach my goal.
Oh, and pizza is definitely on the table (weekends).
I haven’t touched white flour in years (bad for the gut).
If folks need a name for it, I’m doing the ‘french fry & ice cream diet’. Lost 20 pounds by next week this round of health recovery (had a run of antibiotics due to an infection awhile back and weight gain was automatic).
Didn’t read the OP source. Don’t care. More BS from those who don’t know jack. Hope to publish by next year on how I regained my health and lost over 60 pounds total without ‘dieting’.
When I was younger, my exercise consisted of lifting a ream of paper to refill the office copy machine.

Later on, my exercise was walking to and from the bus stop to my office location.
