Education is so racist
And once testing and elite schools are eliminated, everyone will be instantly equal... and happy again.
Vote Democrat, you get what you voted for.
Everyone received an “A” in cultural marxism.
Too bad they didn’t vote for Trump who wanted school choice which Biden crushed, but hey come on Trump is the racist.
If I have a political party whose power is derived from poor, ignorant, disaffected people, I’m gonna make damn sure I NEVER RUN OUT OF POOR, IGNORANT, DISAFFECTED PEOPLE>.................
These are Democrat run schools in Democrat run cities in Democrat run Counties in Democrat run States,
YOU OWN IT, Enjoy the Suck and don’t you dare step off the porch.
You are not supposed to learn anything, other than hatred toward Whites. You are only to obey and vote Democrat forever.
Its by design.
During the days of slavery, democrats didnt want any slaves to learn how to read and write.
During the days of segregation, black schools got the short end of the stick when it came to money and supplies and black kids werent allowed to attend the better performing and equipped white schools.
Today, education for black people is put down as racist. The democrats either turn a blind eye to black students underperforming or actively encourage them to not learn.
This is sad many levels.
Kids deserve better. Nobody wants to be accountable.
Children of all backgrounds are little sponges. Educating them isn’t hard, but it IS work and there must be consistency.
Throwing money at the problem won’t help. Most of our founders were home schooled up until college. Books and a chalkboard... pretty basic but effective when applied properly.
Fell bad for the kids.
At some schools, almost no one passed:
A whopping 94 percent of fifth-graders at PS 134 in Hollis, for example, flunked math; 83 percent bombed English.
Black parents are figuring out their children are being taught racial hatred rather than reading, writing and arithmetic BECAUSE CRT AND RACIAL HATRED WORKS AT KEEPING WHITE LIBERAL ELITES IN POWER.
The same people that are pushing the anti-white agenda are the same people who have let the blacks down for the last 60 years. I’d say a hundred plus, but they were openly against the blacks before they were for them.
I’ve been hearing don’t discriminate for most of my life, in school and at my work. Were they just kidding, and now they really mean it?
don’t be needin ta no nuffin’ to gets dat EBT card
Always blaming someone else for their own failures.
Do those black parents provide their kids with a stable home? Do they promote education? Do they make sure their little angels are home at night and have their homework done? Do the parents go over that homework and help when needed? Do those parents make sure the kids get a good night’s sleep on a full belly and breakfast the next morning? Do they make sure the kids are at school before the last bell rings and their homework is turned in? Do they make sure their little darlings aren’t creating a ruckus in the classroom?
If they aren’t, then don’t come crying to us parents who do take responsibility.
DC public schools spend over $30,000 per year per student. We could voucher the schools, enroll the students in the typical neighborhood Catholic school, pay full tuition, and fund four years of college tuition with the money left over. The kids would be far better off academically, and they would attend schools that still enforce discipline and good behavior.
Probably doesn’t help when the teachers DONT have to demonstrate their ability to read and write.
Regents Drop Teacher Literacy Test Seen as Discriminatory
The teachers still get at least $58K per year.
ML/NJ
I don’t live in NYC, but the schools in my area have gone downhill too. Apparently, the new policy is that kids can turn in ALL their homework at the end of the semester. I don’t see how that policy works for either students or teachers.
The school system cannot change the neighborhood culture. That is up to the residents.
More money does not work. There will be no improvement until there is a change in culture.
The problem is the PARENTS (or lack of them). I don’t like this article’s implication that a massive state bureaucracy will EVER be good at “education”
I’ve seen very wealthy families with kids at expensive private boarding schools - but if the parents are absent or unconcerned, and the home had no discipline - those kids will be bad students.
How much worse then in the ghetto while sending the child into to a vast government bureaucracy?
