DC public schools spend over $30,000 per year per student. We could voucher the schools, enroll the students in the typical neighborhood Catholic school, pay full tuition, and fund four years of college tuition with the money left over. The kids would be far better off academically, and they would attend schools that still enforce discipline and good behavior.
exactly, let the money follow the student, not the union schools. I’m amazed that Blacks do not fully embrace choice, the Dems have shackled them into failed public inner city schools with no way out.
