Hi 90s! It’s not supposed to be that hot in the mountains :-) is that the bout the hottest it gets there? I forget, you don’t have humidity so that’s actually not a bad temperature Comfort wise. What elevation are you at?
Speaking of mountains, I’m trying to find some more hiking boots. They seem to be running out of stock. Have you noticed that about anything else? Such strange times we live in.
👍👍
Thanks Dolly, I quit Facebook when the censorship began.
Ive never bought from them, so not vouching for them: https://libertymaniacs.com/products/who-is-john-galt-t-shirt?variant=28422803193950¤cy=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic
You really out did yourself this morning Lysie. Take the rest of the day off and enjoy!
Nice!
You aren’t searching while driving are you? :-)
Are you getting healed up from your surgery? Are you at steak-level recovery yet? :-)
Speaking of which, I saw some 3 in thick steaks at the store the other day. They wanted an arm and a leg. But I think that would be great for Father’s Day, hubby really likes red meat. It’s too expensive for me to buy one for myself but the same store had risotto cakes. I’m assuming that’s the same kind that has mozzarella in the center and then is fried. So I’ll get one of those for myself. And I’m sure he’d be happier with a huge baked potato. I never know what to get him so I think this would be more appreciated than anything. I’ll tell him it’s from the dog. So he will probably share with Cooper.
Good morning CB.
Good morning , Rusty. I’m not doing much today...sort of.
It usually gets pretty warm up here in the middle of June, started really warming up the end of May this year but it still cooled off at night which isn’t happening now.
But, yes, we are a dry heat. LOL
And we are about 20° lower than the valley.
We are at about 7,000 ft.
Wow, so the valley is nearing 120? Yikes!
I thought you were around 7,000, cuz our cabin was the same. I guess that’s not the only thing that influences temperature then. Either that or the weather in the west has changed since we’ve been there. We sometimes got into the 80s in the summer, but it peaked pretty fast and then nights were nice and cool.
Yes and I still have my Trump Sign!
Good and thanks for the ping.
I quit Facebook also. I recently read a book about the WW2 resistance in France. When I thought about what those brave French patriots did and suffered while others were cooperating with the Vichy French, I decided Facebook had to go.
IIRC it is supposed to be 114° in Phx. today and will get to 118° in a couple of days.
We have always had some very high temps into the 90’s in June as far back as I can remember.
Then the monsoons hit and cool things down a bit, into the 80’s, in July and August.
Didn’t happen last year, hope we get moisture this year or we are so screwed.
I haven’t attempted to eat steak yet. Steak and baked potato sounds heavenly. I’m a red meat eater too.
Some days I don’t do much, I enjoy it if I can just quit thinking about what I should be doing.
when the valley is 120° that’s not saying much, lol.
we’ve been in the hundreds this week, will go all the way down to high nineties a few days then back to the hundreds.
