IIRC it is supposed to be 114° in Phx. today and will get to 118° in a couple of days.

We have always had some very high temps into the 90’s in June as far back as I can remember.

Then the monsoons hit and cool things down a bit, into the 80’s, in July and August.

Didn’t happen last year, hope we get moisture this year or we are so screwed.

That weather sounds like El Paso, we would get a lot of rain in August. I guess Texas and Arizona are pretty close! So the last monsoon season was a bust? I guess it’s kind of like the snowpack in the Sierras. Just being low for decades and decades actually. I was there one winter when it was 25 feet of snow fall and the next winter was 32. Those were the only normal years in the Middle of a bunch of drought years. I did have to pick the year I would have to do a lot of shoveling!
