The mask mandate went away effective 12:01 a.m. this past Wednesday.
Except for those in Shelby (Memphis), Madison (Jackson) Davidson (Nashville), Hamilton (Chattanooga), Knox (Knoxville) and Sullivan (Kingsport) counties. Since they have independent health departments, they were given until the end of May to remove their mask mandate. Wouldn’t be surprised if Nashville takes every available second of it.

Today, zombie dolts here in Loudon County still walking around Walmart diapered up. Go figure.
I don’t know why they would. I don’t think they could be sued as it is impossible to ascertain where someone got sick. Of course these, facts don’t matter.

It seems that if someone dies of covid and they can pinpoint where it was contracted, if it was an “illegal” gathering, people can be charged with manslaughter. Also, if you have been ticketed for a covid violation and not paid the fine, say goodbye to your drivers’ license.

Wednesday I went to our county assessors office and I didn’t wear a mask in because I thought it was not mandated anymore. But they made me put one on. Everyone had one on in the office and of course nobody could understand each other. Between the mask and the plexiglass, it’s impossible.

Last Sunday one of the local infobabes — WBIR, I think — was broadcasting from the Cars And Coffee event in Knowville. Huge open outdoor spaces. Not one soul around her. She had the mask and you couldn’t understand a word she said; everything was muffled and garbled. Then a person came up to her to be interviewed, and she took the mask OFF to talk to him.
We laughed so hard. Nobody around; wear the mask. Person three feet away; remove the mask. Pitiful.
Wow, you are more not fascism than we are - a covid violation? And Trying people for manslaughter, I would like to hear the arguments in that court case. If your justices are paid off like ours are, your jails will be full.

I know! And we’ll be the first ones jailed lol. We’ve ignored their stupid lockdown, anti-gathering rules since day 15. We were good little citizens and gave them their 2 weeks to flatten the curve, and after that, it was pound sand.
Last week the kids and grands went to Chicken Church. Farmers holding services in the chicken barns between “crops” of birds. Everything cleaned out and sanitized. Bring in some chairs, lots of room for the kids to play, perfect.

How can they absolutely prove where a virus was contracted? And if it was an “illegal” gathering, was the person a hostage forced to attend?
They have clear rules for what is a legal gathering. For instance, I’m not supposed to be at the farm 3 or 4 days a week, home-schooling the little one. We are only supposed to be out of our cages if it is an essential need (groceries, pharmacy, etc.) Of course the liquor stores are an “essential service”, as the government makes a boat-load of taxes - can’t close those down! But helping your kids by home-schooling....non-essential.
