That thought occurred to me as well.
However, I will still take my chances and not take the vaccine.
God decides when and how I go. It’s in His hands and out of my control.
He got me through that MRSA infection some years back that very nearly killed me. I’m not worried about COVID but I will not deliberately take unnecessary chances, especially considering the government is so heavily pushing it.
I’m taking my chances as well.
I’m not scared in the least bit either way.
We are God’s problem after all .
What the vaccinated person does is prevents the targeted virus from reproducing. However, it does reproduce early on in the infection while the immune system is mounting its defense. This delay is why the vaccinated person should protect others.
The vaccinated person can also get mutant forms of the virus that are resistant to the immunity developed by the vaccine. They should protect others from passing on those “variants” before becoming aware they are sick. Did you watch Dr. John Campbell’s video? He goes into it better than I can. I tend to write a book that gets boring to read.
The mRNA vaccine does not have the capability for long term consequences. All it does is trigger the immune system to create T-cells and antibodies that attack the Spike Protein, which is equivalent to the human male sex organ. The immune response is the birth control for that virus sex organ. The only difference is the immune system also kills the virus in the process. Ouch!
I was very upset when I called my doctor and asked for a prescription for HCQ. She told my she was forbidden from giving the prescription because Kaiser was involved in the clinical trials. I asked her if she know of how I could get it online so I could use it for its preventative, prophylactic properties. The alarm bells went off in her head. She warned me that there were studies HCQ was more harm than good. She warned that those selling it online were ripoffs and I might be eating a placebo. That ended my quest because of the risk and no way would I get the correct dose from my doctor. One thing good about Kaiser is both me and my wife got our Moderna (me) and Pfizer (wife) complete set of vaccines with the latest news saying they are both 90% effective.
Get the vaccine(s) even if you are a young whipper snapper who has a 90% chance of survival. It is the virus that we do not want to sow its nasty oats. LOL!
I have also seen strong warnings that the use of supplements (with the exception of vitamine D) for the purposes of warding off the virus has yet, not been supported by scientific evidence. Such evidence may have come, but I have not looked at anything recent.
I think that warning is considering the biological workings of the aviolar macrophages during the incubation process when the virus shows no symptoms. So far, the workings of vitamin D in this process have had good understanding. The aviolar macrophages release Interluken 1,6,8 TNF alpha and gamma interferon. The extent of this release is dependent on the genetic makeup of the individual and vitamin D levels. How this release occurs, if it is the dangerous pathway, can lead to hypoxema and hypocarbia causing dangerous consequences: ARDS leading to septic shock and finally multi-organ failure. The level of vitamin D will play an important role in this process.

The only thing I can fault you in your response is the failure to capitalize at the beginning of a sentence. For that, I question every single thing you said because of this evidence of ignorance. Don’t forget vitamin D. 2,000 IUs per day is a good dosage to keep you up to effective levels to fight a COVID infection. The vaccine fights the virus during the incubation phase, when you become contagious. It is like wearing a condom.

Why are you advising 2000 IU vit D3, if you are not my MD? Vit D3 usage depends on several factors plus the desired blood level.
Multivitamins are about useless for fighting a viral infection.
The WHO recommends 200,000 IU vit A for 2 days for measles. I wonder why.

The CDC study said that it turned out that masks have only been able to MAYBE prevent 1.36% of potential cases...how does you Poster for Dummies fit into that picture?
If the poster was right - Florida/Mississippi/Texas and a lot of other States that are not doing harsh n]=mandates and lockdowns would be skyrocketing - but it’s the States with the harsher mandates and most Mask Nazis that are having the problems...plug that into your poster....child.

I have no idea if I ever had the virus or if I’ll ever get it - my precautions have been minimal except to tale some supplements and go on an Ivermectin “therapy” and my State is doing rather better than a lot of the still locked down places even though we’ve been about wide open for the past 4 weeks - should we all crawl into our basements to make you feel safe?
Here’s a novel idea, those who are at real risk, a true minority, take responsibility for protecting themselves. They can wear as many masks as they want, social distance until the nearest person is a dot on the horizon, lock themselves down and sanitize every surface in their homes and vehicles and anything else they want to to - and let the rest of us live our lives...
