Ha! I’m just hearing Pepe Le Pew, the amorous cartoon skunk is next on the chopping block.....the me too wing of the dems have called him a rapist. Still waiting to hear if they’re going to cancel Bill Clinton.
Seriously?
These people are SICK, but as usual where in the hell are the republicans NOT A PEEP!!
So I’m reading on gab. Also, there seems to be a little trend starting - mask burning gatherings. I suspect this is going to take off. It put me in mind of tossing tea.
The rules just do not make sense. If I travel out of the state, I โmust either obtain a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours prior to arrival or immediately upon arrival to Maryland, or self-quarantine for 10 days.โ Even if I were to accept the premise that we are experiencing an unprecedented plague, it just seems arbitrary and nonsensical to me. And I can be fined up to $5000 and serve 1 year in prison for noncompliance. What the heck??
What I’m loving is that some businesses kicked it off, resisting and saying they’re done and over this.
Then a state says ‘we’re done’.
Then another state.
And now the people are saying ‘we’re not gonna take it any more’.
And the leftists are having the vapors.
Couple of ‘man about town’ videos today.
First one is fairly short (8.5 minutes) with an update on the VP house (still working on that darn chimney, nor doing some roof work) and then he went over to the Capitol to see exactly where the live webcam for it is located. He thought it was on the Teamsters Union Building, but the webcam is on the building that houses the DC headquarters of McDermott Will & Emery located at 500 North Capitol Street, NW. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUn4oVgEzJg
And this is why I like to watch the guy’s videos, because of the lengths he’ll go to in order to show things.
The second video of the day, he filmed Biden leaving church from Holy Trinity in Georgetown. He was livestreaming and it’s about 27.5 minutes long. It is from a distance, obviously. Biden makes his appearance from the church at 23:55. He shows the motorcade vehicles waiting along the street and the press following.

Up here in Ontario, some of the schools have re-opened. The rules are as such:
No socializing with kids, masks at all times, avoid talking as much as possible.
Now here’s the even crazier part:
If a child in the school has a positive test (keep in mind the tests are not reliable, except to produce high numbers of covid cases) then that student, along with all of the other students in the same class or classes, or on the bus, must quarantine for 10 days, even if there are no symptoms. Not only that, but EVERY PARENT OF EVERY KID in quarantine, must also quarantine. So, that’s a class full of kids, a bus full of kids, and every parent to go along with every one of those kids. And if there are step parents involved, they also have to comply.
Did you ever hear anything so stupid in your life?
My 4 1/2 year old grandson was sent home from school because his eyes were red from wearing the mask. They wouldnโt let him back in school until he had a covid test. Of course, he was negative.
Those are the rules here in Auburn, AL. I think it is the silliest, stupidest, and really evil thing devised (maybe not the evilest). I am so over this. I wear a mask when the air is cold and when I’m on campus at AU. But that is it.
I wrote my Member of Parliament and sounded off. I told him if teachers are this stupid, they have no business teaching our kids anything.
It gets me started thinking of ways to protest — from masks made of cheesecloth to devising ways to keep the mask held off my face so I can get fresh air. Some days I just cannot stand the stupid thing.
Good gosh, Judy.
Sounds like prison.
We just had a lovely dinner out....hardly a mask, in sight.
I hope the school kids get to stop wearing masks, here, too. Nothing more sad than seeing them jump off of the bus, with mask, and keep walking.....alone, on their street....with mask ๐
Early on, in this planDEMic, I made masks made of gauze. Those were the ones I’d worn, most often, until I purchased clear face shields.
I wore those until last week.
I haven’t worn a mask into any store/establishment, since.
(Even went into Walgreens w/out a mask, recently. Maybe half had masks on, others without.)
RE: REUBENS
Turkey Reubens are good.
1 cup sauerkraut, drained
10 ounces sliced deli turkey meat
2 tablespoons butter
4 slices marble rye bread
4 slices Swiss cheese
4 tablespoons thousand island salad dressing, or to taste
Warm the sauerkraut and turkey, separately, in a microwave-safe bowls for 30-seconds; set aside. Spread butter generously on one side of each slice of rye bread, then spread the thousand island dressing on the other side. Divide the sauerkraut, turkey, and Swiss cheese on two slice of bread with the butter-side down. Stack the remaining two slices of bread with the butter-side up on top.
Step 2
Heat a large skillet over medium-low heat. Arrange the sandwiches on the skillet and grill until lightly browned and the cheese is melted, about 3 minutes on each side

This testing business only makes sense to me as an aid to determining a course of treatment. A 3-day-old negative test means nothing about one's condition today, yet it is test, test, test here. At the local university, everyone needs a negative test every two weeks to be allowed on campus.
............
Actually Pepe Lepew is Bill Clinton
