She did not deserve to be murdered; blown away by a panicked or malevolent clown who, from ~5 feet away, took aim and fired at her head. He intended to kill her when he took that shot. This scumbag was not protecting his family from a break in, nor was he protecting his home from intrusion. At the time he murdered Babbit, the Senate chamber had been cleared and he had a clear, easy path to retreat down. No one would have died had he done that.

Please don't bust my balls by saying that I don't know what I'm talking about. I've been in similar, defensive situations, but confronted not by unarmed Americans who were simply pissed off because their voting rights were vaporized, but by armed people intent on shooting me or blowing me up. And my first rule of engagement in such situations is a practical, sober one: Throw down for real only when you have no other choice to preserve yourself from bodily harm. The bastard that killed Babbit had plenty of room to back off and reassess the situation.

I watched all available videos of the Babbit execution, and that's what it was - a cold blooded, deliberate execution of an unarmed woman. The bastard who killed her should be arrested and charged with second degree murder asap.

Who shot Ashli Babbitt shows what has become of a once decent media in this country. If Ashli Babbitt was black and the shooter was white, they would be all over him, printing his name and all of his personal information. They would all be doing specials calling for his execution. There would be days and days of talk about him calling for him to be tried for murder. The fact that the people were inverted and it was during a Republican protest means that the entire media remains silent. We are not allowed to know who the coward was who shot an unarmed woman to death, in fact we are not even allowed to know who he was. Given who is now in the White House, you can expect more, much more of the same. The media leans left, meaning they side with the democrats.

She was in the building. They were closed doors at the top of the stairs that lead into the room that the policeman was in. Behind Ashley there were cops with big guns. But she was already in the building not trying to climb into the building.
