So if someone else breaks a window, and you merely try to climb through it, is the climbing violent?
Illegally entering, probably.
Is illegally entering sufficiently criminal to pull the trigger?
Oughtn’t the trigger puller be in fear for his life before pulling the trigger?
In what manner was the trigger puller in fear for his life? The gentleman appears to have been large and armed, and the woman was comparatively small and unarmed. Did he have an opportunity to successfully retreat?
It seems that until many questions are answered, the gentleman is at legal risk of a manslaughter charge or better. I’ll wait and see whether anyone is ever scrutinized.
I’ll bet Babbitt’s shooter will forever get off scott free without review of his actions.
Bingo, you're on it, man!
This was a cold-blooded execution of an unarmed woman.
I only saw a video but there were many attempting to enter. An officer isn’t a mind reader and didn’t know who, nor how many were coming in and whether they were armed or not. His job was to keep the building secure, I’m sure.
It was a very unfortunate incident but definitely not a peaceful protest. If I was on a jury, I wouldn’t find him guilty.
