I think of the Villages as a Christian community. Am I misinformed? One of my pro-life female friends just moved there. She may be in for a surprise if this thread is any indication.
They would never let me in. They would say I am lying about my age. I get in a lot of trouble just by looking too young.
We head to Fort Lauderdale in the winter. The “early bird special” is now called “happy hour”.
Well, good for them, but from what I’ve read and been told about this place, it creeps me out a bit. Its like if a cruise ship was a city.

I have heard of people retiring and moving south to the villages and then, a couple of years later, moving back north because they miss family and friends...
