So, I won't give specifics, but this exact thing happened late last night, and the recipient was given less than 8 hours notice to be at the indicated airfield this morning.
So, for purely speculation's sake - what the actual front door is going on???
I'm sure they don't get along.
But I'm also sure that Trump wouldn't turn down such a request.
And I'm sure that the governors from NY, MD and VA, who also don't get along with Trump, wouldn't go along with such a request if it wasn't something Bowser requested of Trump.
Would Bowser be requesting infantry, and attack helicopters?

I don’t know that impeachment was the primary motive. I’d say that painting MAGA as a domestic terror threat was more the idea. And, of course, subsequent gun confiscations.

They are spooked by the size of patriot crowd which showed up on Jan 6th in DC. No other politician can bring in 1/10th of that crowd size.
When the elites had their building breached so easily, they scampered like scared rats, ignored wearing masks, and ran to the basement to hide in a secure area.
That mayor's order was issued back on Jan. 6. Yes, there is up to 20,000 National Guard in DC, and I can understand that the DC mayor (or a governor) can request the National Guard, but this is the Marine Reserves that have been called in; not just the Guard (as in National Guard). There's a difference.
