I know far too many people right now who are fighting for their lives or who have lost their lives to COVID.
This wave has been much more devastating in my circle of relatives and friends than the 1st one.
I guess I don’t get it . . .
“When” has there ever been a realistic need for tens of thousands of troops at our Nation’s Capital?
I could not believe it this morning that our Governor of Iowa will be sending 250 troops to support “the effort”!
I know it sounds like a small number, but, still, why does Iowa need to be sending troops to DC.
Does anyone have a ‘count’ of which states are sending troops and how many?

We were in the 60s yesterday.
Now we’re in the 30s (heavy frost last night!) and they’re predicting SNOW this evening! Around one inch. I went to the grocery last night before I heard the weather prediction. Glad I went; the grocery was quiet!
