We’re all familiar with the cycle of poverty in Black urban neighborhoods that Democrat politicians have run for decades. Everybody assumes it’s because Democrats are so wedded to their policies, they keep throwing good money after bad. Maybe that’s not the problem, though. Maybe Black Democrat politicians don’t want to help these areas, and the citizens in those areas don’t actually want to be helped.
“Diversity” and “inclusion” are two of the most often heard buzzwords in our lives these days, with a heavy helping coming from the media, of course. Tucker Carlson addressed the subject very well recently in an opinion piece where he discussed diversity versus the meritocracy, using Biden’s recently-announced cabinet selections to make his case. The evident theme for Joe Biden’s picks has nothing to do with whether his picks are actually qualified for their postings. Rather, that must check off the appropriate victim identity group box: female, Black, Hispanic, gay, trans, or (Jackpot!) a combination of two or more, where being a black Hispanic lesbian is the pinnacle of the victim hierarchy.
In particular, I noted in the public remarks made by soon-to-be repeat offender against our economy, Janet Yellen, that a big part of her focus as Fed Chair is to address economic inequality, wage inequality, food insecurity, poverty — all seemingly benevolent causes until you peel back the onion just slightly and realize that she’s not talking about these things in the scope of helping everyone, regardless of race. No, she’s specifically talking about “communities of color.” Just so we’re clear, a group of people is going to receive different (preferential) treatment based solely on the color of their skin. I’m pretty sure that’s called racism.

A lot of people are still living on the plantation.
A lot of people are still slaves.
A lot of people are afraid to try and be anything more than that.
And this is not exclusively a problem for people with dark skin. We have a pretty diverse class of people hooked on dependency these days.
Real simple— black politicians are well paid by their masters to manage the labor pool, and keep them well downtrodden with all kinds of payment programs to keep them dependent. Their masters apply this to many other demographics in the US in the same way... keep up the minimal largesse, disincentivize initiative and pride of self, and thus keep everyone... in their place under our overlords.
People like Zuckerberg, the disturbed little twerp and his dominatrix chi-com wife. The Communists intend to be the next plantation owners of our Republic. It will not be allowed, by any and all the means our Constitution provides, and the People may take.
There’s poverty caused by misfortune.
There’s poverty caused by politics and politicians.
There’s also poverty caused by laziness and unwillingness to work. I have no sympathy at all for the last category.
Sadly, I have known people like this. One of my best friends and his wife hit some hard times and were introduced to it by a social worker when they went looking for help for their kids.
We have not spoken in almost 20 years.

Whitey.
LBJ did it...
A basket of live crabs is often used as a good analogy for what life is like in black culture. Anyone who has seen crabs in a basket will notice that when one tries to crawl out and escape, the other crabs will grab him and drag him back in.
I worked for two hellish years in the hood with these people.
Hardly any wanted to do anything positive to boost themselves or work towards a long term goal - that was racism to put effort into anything.
It was always about today and what can you do for me - always!
When people have that mentality, which is very animalistic, you cannot help them.
Who Is to Blame for White Poverty?
One can transcend and overcome the energy level and role of perceived victimhood by taking responsibility for the consequences of one’s own perceptions. This requires the belief that nothing out there has power over you. It isn’t life’s events, but how one reacts to them and the attitude that one has about them, that determines whether such events have a positive or negative effect one’s life, whether they’re experienced as opportunity or as stress.
The LAST thing that Dem politicians want, is for blacks to be employed, or to be managing their own small businesses (there were a LOT more black-owned small businesses before Johnson’s Great Society)
Do blacks have any responsibility for their lives?
The problem is that our welfare net is too generous and too large.
Don't let the social workers off the hook. Half of what is spent on welfare actually goes to the Democrats running the system.
I have seen estimates that when you count all the think tanks and administation costs, it is about 70% going to others than the "poor".
Black culture sucks. I learned all about it.
I grew up in a 100% all white community. Later on took a job as a director at Memphis based company where I learned first hand about black people/black culture.
-Never knew what black people time was before then. Learned all about BPT first week.
-Had some great black employees but a high percentage was flat out lazy. Doing just the bare minimum was common
-Whining and victimhood from the blacks was constant even from the good workers. If management did somethig they did not like it was raaayyycism and this was 1990.
When I moved to Memphis the company boarded me in one of their company owned apartments for a month. When looking for my own apartment the HR director pulled out a map and told me do not rent in any of these areas circled in red.
After 3 years I had enough
A law could be passed that disallows public funds to both a mother and her kids. Either the mother gets welfare, or her kids do.
I worked in a hood probably way way worse than yours for 20+ years and can tell you there are some good people there trapped mostly older respectful folks. Please don’t write them all off.
