Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is known for being a great basketball player. Beyond that, he also seemingly tries to make a positive impact on the world through his various charities and organizations. By all accounts he is a generous person. However, one issue continues to arise – his tipping practices.

Yep. Nothing has changed and the stigmas are true about blacks in this regard. When I waited tables in the 1990s, they were always the worst at tipping. They screwed everyone over on tips no matter how amazing the service, and always screwed fellow blacks as well.

They were so awful, black restaurant staff would get into arguments with the black hostess for seating black customers in their sections. Imagine if white restaurant staff objected to the entrance of black customers into their sections. The double standards and stigmas never seem to stop with these folks.

LeBron is not a nice person. It wouldn’t surprise me if all these stories come from non-black servers...I suspect he tips generously if the server is black.

My wife was a waitress for years. In our area (New England) the Hispanic customers have gotten better as they integrated into the middle class. Foreigners suck because tipping is not normal.

And yes, black customers are the worst tippers. And no one has ever explained that because it seems universal—not depending on the region or type of place.

I think it’s more of a culture thing. Brits are notoriously bad tippers and they are mostly Caucasian.

Also known for showing up at grand openings, ordering a lot of expensive food, then complaining that it wasn’t good so they can get their meal free.

I have a black female friend, let’s say her name is Jean. I met her a couple hears ago. Very attractive, well dressed, intelligent from a good home. Never married, in her 40s.

She told me when we met that when it comes to men, she prefers cream than to drink it black. SHe has black male friends, but when it comes to dating going out etc. it’s always with white men.

Okay, so we’re not dating, but she would call me two to three times a week to meet for a drink that usually led to dinner, that always led to me paying for it.

I didn’t mind, but I started to take note that she was always the one asking me out, and yet she never offered to pay.

Anyway, one day I was at the bar at the restaurant we frequent, and got to talking to the bartender who I’d known for many years before I had met Jean. I asked her if Jean ever paid for the meals she had when she was with friends.

I was kinda shocked to learn, that she didn’t and almost never tipped. Zero.

Not to sound racist, but I grew up in the restaurant business, and to tell you the truth, the whole staff would cringe when a black group came in. They were very demanding, rude, very loud, and yes, hardly ever left tips.

I could tell a gay guy I picked up liked me...so as he talked I played along...just to get a big tip! :)

He invited me to dinner by the end of the ride and gave me 10 bucks tip on a 20 dollar ride!!

He was respectful the whole time :)

Some fruits weren’t. They talked disgusting and I wanted to beat the hell out of them.

They think Everyone is gay or potentially gay and say the crudest things.

But that first guy was nice.

I don't know whether the many reports are true that the super-wealthy LeBron James is a shamefully pathetic tipper. But I do know the Biden-voter LeBron James shamefully plays the race card on Twitter. Unfortunately, the news publisher Twitter never censors LeBron for his race-baiting deliberate lies, even though Twitter relentlessly censors President Trump for telling the indisputable truth.

Fact Check: The FBI's statistics show black people are much more likely to murder white people than vice versa, even though black people comprise only 12% of the population. In addition, all those murders comprise a microscopic percentage of the U.S. population. Also, about 7,000 black people are murdered each year (the vast majority of whom are killed by other black people). It has to be based on a cultural norm.

Most of my friends growing up worked in a “tip” environment at one time or another. If not directly, they had a sister or girlfriend or buddy who worked as a waitstaff.

You learned pretty quickly what was expected and why. And certainly my mom and sister had been waitresses. They let me know what to do.

As more people integrate into that workforce, it is “learned.”

There used to be a place in town that had only black waiters—this was in the 70’s. They were very high end. The service was impeccable. These guys raked in cash every night. So, clearly these guys “got it.”

I am sure there have been studies on this. It is a curiosity.
