New York City has enough restaurants to keep you well fed 24/7 for the entire year. Per a previous link in an answer provided last year, the latest lists 26,642 eateries as of 8/23/2018:
The Bronx - 2,396
Brooklyn - 6,646
Manhattan - 10,625
Queens - 5,999
Staten Island - 976
TOTAL - 26,642
Bear in mind these are pre-pandemic numbers from 2018, back in the good old days when the annual closure rate was 26% annually.
Sounds like another nine months before he even considers...street soup kitchens for all, mind your two meter distance...and stop that sniveling.
