The mosquito spray is not enough protection on its own and is being used as an added layer.

A product found in insect repellent can kill the strain of coronavirus that causes COVID-19, research by Britain's defence laboratory has shown.

Scientists at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) are sharing their preliminary findings so others are able to conduct further research, Sky News understands.

Britain's armed forces were issued with an insect repellent that contains a product called Citriodiol because it was believed it might offer a new layer of protection against COVID-19, Sky News revealed in April.

It seems that almost anything - tobacco smoke, insect repellent, veterinary medication, chewing gum, Brut cologne - can kill coronavirus, except Hydroxychloroquine!

Colgate total mouthwash is purported to offer a layer of defense too- it supposedly binds covid and keeps it from replicating-

Easy to take, most people use mouthwash anyways- use it with the active ingredient 0.075% Cetylpyridinium chloride (There are other brands that have thsi ingredient too)

And it offers a layer of protection for hours on end- upwards of 6 I beleive- )

“Ghannoum, one of the product’s creators, has said he envisioned it as “hand sanitizer for the mouth.”

The company developed a formula that uses a common antiviral agent, cetylpyridinium chloride, or CPC, and combines it with an agent that coats the back of the oral cavity and stays in place for at least six hours.

The idea was to create a barrier at the back of the mouth that traps, then kills, viruses and other airborne germs before they enter the respiratory system.”

I ingest vitamin B1, 100 mg tablet daily during the summer mosquito season. 100 mg is more than can be metabolized so...
B1 gets excreted in sweat and dries on you skin. Mosquitoes will not bite you if they smell B1.
I have not received a single mosquito bite this year.

I'm not sure that DEET is safe. The EPA says it's safe, which makes me think it's not.

What about garlic?

#18 What about garlic?
That would only work for werewolves.
It would however attract Italian grandmothers.
