With one exception, the wars in which the United States has engaged since its inception involved our nation against one or more external adversaries. That exception, the American Civil War (1861-1865), still elicits an emotional response among our citizens due to the inherent tragedy connected to a nation at war with itself the whole "brother against brother" dynamic that is recalled whenever discussions of this conflict arise.
One less common aspect of our Civil War (as compared to other nations that have endured civil wars) is that America was geographically divided at the time by the Mason-Dixon line, which divided the Union and Confederate states. This more resembled traditional military conflicts with external adversaries, and has colored many Americans' idea of what a civil war is like. Unlike our Civil War, civil wars in most nations generally involve disparate or dissident factions fighting against each other and/or whatever regime is holding power.
I'm not going to say that what we've been experiencing over the last three months have been the first salvos of a civil war, but it sure looks like it. While hard-line socialists in the Democratic Party are working within the political infrastructure and behaving as though they are conducting the business of governance according to the rule of law and constitutionally established procedures, they are in fact in the process of fomenting civil war or at least, they have made it apparent that they are willing to go that far if they are not able to gain ascendency via political means.

Vote Democrat if you want this in your neighborhood.
My banjo is made by FN.
There is no possible situation that could arise cause people to go to a civil war.
....How about the Lefts unwillingness to accept defeat after Donald Trump is re-elected to the Presidency ?
I agree. That is one family that needs to be forcibly relocated to another country, then continue with the Obummers and Klintoons.
The last good one we had hit here two years ago took down a tree, the power lines, and had us blocked in for a full night and day. The temp was so sweltering, even at 11 at night, I sat in my car with the A/C running, listened to SiriusXM, and drank beer until I was good and sauced, so I could sleep through the heat. I figured, if I can't get out, the cops can't get in, so they can't write me up for sitting in a running vehicle with an open container in my own driveway. LOL
Ping
Dieudonné Saive's instrument, or one of its successors?
Pretty close to the original. Mine is an Austrian StG58 kit built on a DSA receiver. Best battle rifle Ive ever owned
And are they talking good games about it?
....And all those guns bought for the purpose of fighting the left will be put to good use.
And I think by Dec 20, the electors have to cast their vote.
I Believe Soros is responsible for the utter unrest in this country AND I dont know why someone in the DOJ doesnt do something about this MONSTER!!
I so agree, what we need is some former Special Ops guys take him and his sons out of the picture.
Ready willing and able!
State(s) secession is the ONLY solution that will prevent violence.
Just bought it a new optic.
The one furthest east - median heading for the AL/FL border - is the hurricane.
That's right where we're headed! Plans are to exit the area Tuesday morning.
I figured, if I can't get out, the cops can't get in, so they can't write me up for sitting in a running vehicle with an open container in my own driveway.
LOL!
I was staying on base at Tyndall when hurricane Irin (IIRC) came ashore. The damage was nothing like Michael in '17 but had enough force to collapse several beachside buildings, including the Salty Dog, which was my favorite hangout.
We had an F3 or F4 (depending who your reference) miss our home some months ago by only 300 yardsno way out for several days due to transmission lines over our only road made us glad we were preppers. The utility company had to bring in cranes to lift the lines so we could drive underneath to get in and out. We were without power for a week.
Everyone should share your link with others. It validates what John Adams has to say about our form of government, “ Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people.” It’s hard to imagine the kind of Minnesotian who elected someone like this who curses God and verbally assaults and terrorizes a peaceful community. There should be some means to remove him from their midst.
I’m hip to that. The local power utility literally had to wait for a county road crew to chainsaw us and our neighbors out so they could get a cherry picker in here and splice the lines back together. And we’d just had our whole HVAC system repaired due to a lightning strike the year before. I was never so relieved when I heard that new heat pump suddenly kick on and a blast of cold air hit me between the eyes. The clickety-clacking of all the computer fans and hard drives in my den was like a classical symphony to my ears. Where you camping out down here? Let me guess: Panama City. The Redneck Riviera.
Thanks for the links - they are educational. The enemy is both internal and external. The danger is real, and most don’t see it. But some of us do. What is coming has been planned for a long time.
Thanks for correcting my spelling. All I can say to you is that the attempt at a formal secession didn’t stop the violence the last time.
