DP was told an hour ago that the Big 10 and Pac 12 will cancel their football seasons tomorrow… The ACC and the Big 12 are on the fence.. And the SEC is trying to get teams to join them for a season.

Dan Patrick reported during his radio show this morning the Big Ten has voted.
There won’t be a college football season this fall.
Patrick said a source told him that the Big Ten and Pac-12 will cancel their seasons on Tuesday. He said he learned the Big 12 and ACC are “on the fence,” and that the SEC is trying to get the other teams to join them for a season this fall.
The Big Ten presidents voted 12-2 to not play this fall. Patrick said only Nebraska and Iowa voted to play.

I fear you are correct. Lots of gutless administrators. If this happens, there is a silver lining; it means a major financial hit for these useless anti-US factories

If their schools are doing virtual classes, which many are, they have to cancel. The last nail in the fiction of the student-athlete would be forcing the athletes to show up while the students stay home. Pretty much at that point they have to admit the whole thing is a sham and pay them.
Heard Rick and Bubba on the Radio this morning talking about this. They are big SEC guys, but said that they wouldn’t want to expose their loved ones to any possible Covid-19 for the sake of football...........
IF they were having in-person classes, they’d probably not know where they were!...................
Might as well, I wouldn’t want my kids to be possibly exposed to this virus just for a game.............
