LOL,when I was 9, I at the last minute told my parents that the Cub Scouts, that the Pinewood Derby was the next day and all I had was a block of wood.

My mother got out the electric carve knife, and she carved out a racing car, and we painted it. When it was done, it really did not work well, and she said lets 'Oleo"(margarine the wheels).

Long story short, I won second prize, and my mother was proud that she had beaten the local mechanical engineer's son's car in the Pinewood Derby.

Nader might have stopped eating eggs, my mom ate 1 egg, 2 strips of bacon on toast with melted cheese every morning. She lived to be 94. Maybe it was the fresh orange and apple she ate mid afternoon.
