In what order are the bank deposits being made?
My son just started a new business 2 years ago. He's filed in 2018 and 2019, with Direct Deposit, and his income is definitely still low... for now. But, nothing.
He's checking the bank like every 2 hours. lol
Nothing coming for me and I'm JUST FINE with that.
Still waiting for my assistance for 2008-2009.
I would not be surprised if IRS skips me altogether with the stimulus check.
They are promising one, but it isn’t there yet.
TurboTax did one, but it actually files a minimal tax return, which wouldn’t work for those who have already filed or need to file a real return.
My son says it showed up on his checking account as pending today.
Printing money that we don’t have,throwing money out the window and giving the bill to the next generation is a recipe for disaster. America was broke to begin with. People need to get back to work and not get government checks. America is insane.
IRS said won’t be sent out until Wednesday.

What if you never get money back, but have to pay the fed? My checking account number should be on file. Should I expect a check to be direct deposited if the fed has never direct deposited before? Or like many, left without!

That is same as my situation as well. I am guessing we will be at the end of line.
This is from the IRS site. You can eventually enter in your direct deposit info.
Update your information
Direct deposit: Use the Get My Payment application (coming mid-April) to let us know your bank account information if we don’t have your direct deposit information and we haven’t sent your payment.

Hey, I Filed Tax Returns and I also get Social Security.
Do I get two $1,200 Payments? I need to replenish my Ammo and TP stores.
Family of four with $24k income last year, we have e-filed with direct deposit to the same bank account for years. No $$ yet but we’re not hurting for it. Money will replace what we used that was supposed to go towards me becoming self employed this year. Hopefully that will still happen this year. We’ll see.
