What if you never get money back, but have to pay the fed? My checking account number should be on file. Should I expect a check to be direct deposited if the fed has never direct deposited before? Or like many, left without!
That is same as my situation as well. I am guessing we will be at the end of line.
This is from the IRS site. You can eventually enter in your direct deposit info.

Direct deposit: Use the Get My Payment application (coming mid-April) to let us know your bank account information if we don’t have your direct deposit information and we haven’t sent your payment.
