I am currently in London. Numerous people are wearing masks, but with two or three exceptions, everyone wearing a mask has been Oriental as they still say here.
Handwashing and hand sanitizers are everywhere. Even a major store on Carnaby Street has a big window display encouraging people to come in and wash their hands. I joke that the first thing I packed in my luggage was hand sanitizer, but that’s not really too much of an exaggeration.
Not good news.
IMO, a person can walk the right path without going into a church building, especially under these circumstances. God understands all.

Below is a link to a medical paper from 2019 (Bird Flu) that talks about the virus in the air. All viruses are pretty much the same when it comes to size, density, etc. So these results would be similar for Covid-19. They are spread in the air at far distances and long linger times (hours).

From what I have read you are correct. You can get some of the “virons” into your body and your body fights them and wins. You get too many (I think they call it viral loading) and the body is overwhelmed and the virus wins.
So anything one can do to lesson the amount of exposure is a good thing. (Hmm - I bet the UBER business is way down.)
Nope, that passage doesn’t say it’s a sin to miss church on Sunday.
Churches do that to control their membership.
