I did round. Even went inside Sprouts. Bought Oxalis plant and cake. Normal traffic, no shortages or empty shelves. Except for the Organic vegetable section. Everything else available. Traffic normal, other grocery stores parking lot normal. Only one Chinese couple with masks.

These things happen all the time. All the world is always involved. I went to a Terlingua cemetary one time, and most of the population, men women and children, died in 1918. Obviously Spanish flu. In 1918, it hit Terlingua. That’s something to think ab9ut.
China being a bad character is not beyond recognition.

Lo.. my poor grandkids. 5hry were going camping in Big Bend. I made sure the kids had loose pants. Daughter says her MIL wadmore concerned about Mexicans than her her mom ( me ) was concerned about rattlesnakes .

I don’t know the answer, but... If the ‘six degrees of separation’ is right, and many say it is (the idea that all people are six, or fewer, connections away from everyone else in the world) - also known as the 6 Handshakes rule. Doesn’t that mean we’ve had it/got it? ****** On balance, isn’t it fair to assume this virus much more widespread in the population of the world than any of us have actually realised, and perhaps, it didn’t even start in Wuhan?

Carriers. Isn’t TB transferred by carriers and only hits the vulnerable? Or am I thinking of something else?

Tuberculosis is caused by bacteria that spread from person to person through microscopic droplets released into the air. This can happen when someone with the untreated, active form of tuberculosis coughs, speaks, sneezes, spits, laughs or sings. Although tuberculosis is contagious, it's not easy to catch.

It is very important to remember that only someone with active TB disease in the lungs can spread the germ. People with TB infection are not contagious, do not have any symptoms, and do not put their family, friends and co-workers at risk.

Oh, definitely it is. Imagine, I am one obscure nobody in the jungle of Papua. Well, don't imagine it. It is a fact. Yet, I know NaturalMan, a fellow freeper, who is a personal friend of the Prince of Wales, who knows the Queen of England. I also know very poor, very lowly people who are natives of Papua and live in unbelievable remote places and are considered by many as not really valuable people, certainly not on the level of the Queen or the Prince. How many degrees of separation is that?

My family, at a mission conference in 1999 - 2000, stayed at the home of someone who is personal friends with George W Bush. At a mission conference last year, I met a man who vacationed on James Riady's yaught. Again, the degrees of separation are not far.
