This virus spread faster and fatality among weaker immune systems is much higher.
This is a new virus for humans, so the intensity is much higher.
President is trying not to overwhelm hospitals with lot of patients at one time and things get out of hand.
To make a curve as a little bump, not peak, means not having lot of patients at one time.
It’s better to control spreading of the virus then having lot of patients in hospitals at one point.
Let me tell you, the majority of people will get this virus, but it may take 3-5 years.
Common flu we get is different strains from previous outbreak hit sometimes in your life.
There are a whole bunch of things swirling around in my head, much needs me digging out my Trump tinfoil hat.
I still think a lot of the hysterical panic is LSM/dim driven to hurt Trump.
But can't actually say how much of this is playing into Trump's hands and will come out to be a benefit to us all.
I'm choosing NOT to panic, pray for those who are ill and in need of help and helping those who I can.

I remember the H1N1 and SARS epidemics. Everyone supported our president then. There was no hysteria and the doomsayers kept their mouths shut. Thousands of people died and yet the press supported the astonishingly tepid response by the leaders of the time. Why the hysteria now?

Well since we now have a few cases of coronavirus San Angelo has joined the hysteria club. I went to HEB for a few things, and I’ve never seen it so busy the day before Thanksgiving. No TP, water, milk, eggs, pastas, canned soup, and only a few cans of cheap tuna I buy my cat. I bought those cans, he will have to share. But everyone, including the cashier, was laughing about it all. He said people were lined up to get into the store when they opened.
Since you cant go out and about, you have less chance of catching anything. Do you still care for your grandson?

Exactly. For years I had a couple months in stock, but I have less room now so I usually have enough I can live for a couple of weeks.
