I have never seen anything so ridiculous in my life. Stores up here are sold out of everything. No tp, no water, no flour, no canned goods, no frozen vegetables, no rice.....on and on.
I watched a bit of the president’s press conference and he isn’t saying anything that would tamp down this mass hysteria. It makes me wonder what the heck is really going on. It doesn’t make sense to me that he would be allowing the media to drive this mass frenzy without pointing the finger at them.
I have turned off the news for the most part and am hoping there are enough groceries in the pantry and the freezer to last awhile. I would expect such a degree of panic if it was the plague, and we were dragging our dead out to the curb.
What does everyone think is really going on here?
I understand, in these trying stressful times our faith will sustain us.
I don’t know what I would do without my faith, be a blithering idiot I would imagine.
Oh darn and I do suppose we would all need to pray for him.

I agree. He suggested domestic travel should stop unless necessary, it was a good thing schools closed, sports teams made the right decision to stop....
To me, it still seems like a very bad case of the flu that we get every year. But something must be going on that we are not privy to.
Of course, when it is over & anybody questions whether or not it was over blown, they will say "well, you don't know how bad it would have been if we didn't shut everything down".
I hope this doesn't go on every year when the flu rolls around.
