The leader of a libertarian-leaning tech group is stepping down as its president after tweeting that it would be “poetic justice” if President Donald Trump died from the coronavirus, the group confirmed Friday.
Berin Szóka, president of Washington-based think tank TechFreedom, will be taking an indefinite sabbatical to write a book on tech policy, as first reported by POLITICO earlier Friday. Shane Tews, a longtime member of the group’s board, will lead the organization in his stead.

That's very hard to live with. It means there are so many of them we can never clear them out. It means our Republic is just a memory because you can't have America without law.

Daughter in law in Colorado Springs had the first death at her hospital today, a woman in her 80s.
Brought her in and by the time they tested her and got result she was gone.
Everyone shaken up over it.
I can’t figure out why this is a big deal. the order waives the requirement that borrowers pay interest on federally-held loans.
It does not help today’s students today and they really don’t need help today.
Not sure what’s considered a federal loan, (Student loans used to be funded by banks and backed by the Feds - is that a federal loan ? Pres. Obama took the funding away from the private sector and made it a function of the Feds in 2010 - that would be a federal loan)
but it helps those who are no longer in college - graduation or otherwise.
They still have to pay the principal.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
What combats fear? Praise and prayer. What combats the enemy? Worship and praise for our heavenly Father. The enemy would love to cause mass hysteria and worry so that our focus is off of God and He is not receiving worship. We are seeing revival and the outpouring of His Holy Spirit right now at BCC. Let us remain faithful to bring our worship to Him.
We encourage individuals and families to have a time of worship and prayer at 9:00 p.m. for the next 30 days. If another time works better for you, by all means, choose the time that works best.
You might begin by reading Psalm 34, then play a favorite praise song from your playlist or sing a favorite hymn. Close with another scripture, such as Isaiah 26:3. You can easily find topical scriptures and/songs on your phone by typing in “scriptures to combat fear and worry,” or “scriptures for worship and praise.”
Try to spend at least 15 minutes daily and watch your anxiety subside. If we spend this time united in worship, we will see the enemy flee and God will receive the praise and worship of which He is so worthy.
