Coronavirus, third case in Campania and first in Naples: fifty year old in good condition

There is a likely third case of Coronavirus in Campania, this time in Naples. According to what is learned from sources within the Campania Region, a third positive buffer was carried out in the city and was then sent to Rome for confirmation by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità. There’s a Dr John Campbell that has a youtube channel and has been doing videos on coronavirus. He said when it’s cold, the blood flow to your nose/sinuses gets restricted and that makes your sinus system more susceptible to absorbing germs that you breathe in.

so, maybe a minimum of 20 days ago for infection? (mortality at 28 days avg?) So less than a week after the China nationals travel cutoff, which was lackadaisical for a week (as we saw/ heard).
Obviously the UCD patient can't talk. But he can't be an island, either. If this patient doesn't have any relatives who can tell us anything, what about an employer or landlord? Does he have a cellphone - can we do ping tracking? Is this person an illegal, migrant worker? or had contact with a person from a country that we hadn't yet added to the screen list the first week of Feb? Mystery Man.

He said we had 15 cases, plus the rescues, for a total of 60. So I think that he was told about the UCD case and included that in the 15 count.

First real hint of news about true number of cases well not be what the CDC tells us about confirmed tests, it will be when Twitter explodes with stories of hospitals with no room.

FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Boston Red Sox have not quarantined minor league pitcher Chih-Jung Liu for fear of the coronavirus, the team’s vice president of media relations Kevin Gregg said Wednesday.
Erroneous reports Wednesday stated that the team had quarantined the 20-year-old Taiwanese right-hander after he had arrived in Fort Myers from his Asian homeland last week.
“He was never quarantined,” Gregg said. “He’s not sick, has never been sick. No one is at risk.”
Gregg explained that the team asked him to delay reporting to spring training at JetBlue Park until Saturday …
Red Sox infielder Tzu-Wei Lin, who also is from Taiwan, spent a day away from the team before returning to normal practices.
And before that, the Sox kept pitcher Chris Sale from reporting to camp because of pneumonia. He stayed at his home in Naples and worked out there.
About a week ago I saw a strange sight at FLL. Kalitta air 747 (the same planes transporting evacuees from China) parked away from the terminal. I drive by FLL twice each day to& from work for twenty years and as a matter of habit look over to the airport each time.
Until then, I’d NEVER seen that plane there. Made me wonder if a group were transported to South Florida.

just checked my toilet bowl cleaner - it’s Lysol extra and it’s 12% hydrochloric acid - so that should kill just about anything living
