Q is the result of the sacrifices and commitment of countless patriots to win back our captured country from the Deep State and achieve the transformation President Trump promised in this campaign video. President Trump has said the awakening of the public is key to this transformation.
Q describes this awakening as follows:

"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.

No. The House fills the role of prosecutor by appointing 'managers', usually someone intimately involved in compiling 'evidence' against the president. The White House can pick its defense 'attorneys', possibly from the House or from wherever they choose. The Senate votes on the rules for the trial, generally under the rules for most juries and most trials.
If Mitch McConnell should decide to call additional witnesses, especially witnesses the Dems want, then the role of a jury becomes perverted (juries do not call witnesses) and opens the door for another Kavanaugh circus.
The WH can request witnesses and the Senate can vote on each one (providing the voted-on rules allow it.) If the Senate holds a true trial one would expect the WH to request witnesses, since they were not allowed such representation in the House.
Today I wrote the Trump Campaign and urged them to press POTUS to bypass the Senate and appeal directly to SCOTUS, to ask that the Articles of Impeachment be declared unconstitutional on the grounds of gross violations of human rights and everything this country has stood for. The WH has nothing to lose. If successful, Prez Trump is NOT impeached, which is not the case if the charges are rejected in the Senate. ALSO, it serves to discourage the Dems from further excursions into impeachment. You may remember my pointing out a few weeks ago that weaponizing the impeachment process could serve to turn us into a parliamentary system, where the executive is always answerable to the majority in the House.
Like the kid who cried Wolf!, impeachment would lose all its constitutional power.
I also wrote that Prez Trump should confiscate the passport of John Kerry and put an end to his treason; forget hollering about violation of the Logan Act and doing nothing.

When Roberts was appointed to the Supreme Court, he immediately became the Chief Justice.
Who decides which member plays that role?
If the President does so, why can’t Trump change the person playing that role? Why couldn’t Thomas be Chief Justice?

Because the Senate has sole power to determine the process. I stated, The Senate must try the case as a jury because juries do not call witnesses or continue to prosecute the accused. A jury must remain impartial. I assure you the Dems hope to turn impeachment into another Kavanaugh outrage.
