The chord in the boogie woogie are the same chords in many hymns (and early rock and roll songs). Can really liven up a church service (not seriously). But is the reason that many of the first jazz and R & B performers were first involved in their church’s music. Just add some syncopation to the church chords.

https://www.oann.com/harvey-weinstein-jury-selection-set-for-next-week/

The prosecution and defense in the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault case may have a difficult time choosing an impartial jury. Selection for the jury is set to take place next Monday in New York, and lawyers on both sides are nervous about the outcome.

Maybe we could all volunteer. ;-)

https://thefederalist.com/2020/01/02/its-statistically-impossible-for-the-fbis-spygate-errors-to-all-be-mistakes/

There’s no way 17 glaring omissions, mistakes, mischaracterizations, and straight-up lies can make their way, undetected, unquestioned, and uncorrected, through the now-legendary labyrinth of supervisory coordination, from line agents to Woods Procedures to FBI supervisors to DOJ reviewers to FBI counsel, FBI deputy director, FBI director, DOJ general counsel, deputy attorney general, and attorney general certification.

There’s no way none of those people caught one of those 17 mistakes. No way each link in the chain—every single one of them—simply assumed this one time that the previous link had carried out all of their supervisory and verification responsibilities and blindly affixed their certification mark on the package without review. No way it all falls one way.

Thanks...heading out to Goodwill. Looking for books. 15.00 for a book isn't practical. And I'm not reading from my Kindle to have a censor in where I get to read a book. I was caught the other day in a doctors office stupidly taking my Kindle after 3 years of not reading books from it. This is exactly why I stopped the first time. Sorry to unload. lol Going back to books only. Good afternoon.

Zionist Union quotes Netanyahu in massive billboard urging him to quit

Poster hanging over Tel Aviv highway cites PM, now accused by police of corruption, telling Olmert to resign under similar circumstances in 2008

Times of Israel, Feb 15, 2018

The Knesset’s largest opposition faction, the Zionist Union, on Thursday targeted motorists in its effort to drive home the message that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should resign following police recommendations that he be indicted for corruption.

A huge billboard over the main Tel Aviv highway quoted Netanyahu himself, who said in 2008 that “a prime minister who is neck-deep in investigations has no public or moral mandate to make crucial decisions… the right thing to do is for the government to go home.”

Netanyahu made the comments in reference to Ehud Olmert, the prime minister at the time, who was under investigation for multiple cases of suspected corruption.

______________

RIV:

It was Olmert's resignation and his successor's inability to form a government after winning the general election that paved the way for Netanyahu to resume the premiership after losing it ten years earlier.

BTW, Olmert went on to serve 16 of his 27-month prison sentence for fraud and bribery.

My 19-month old son just strolled over, latte in hand, and asked,

“Papa, now that Julian Castro has dropped out, who’s going to stand for the abortion rights of transgendered men?”

"I was told repeatedly that it was because of the care— home cooked meals, activities etc that he lived much longer than doctors had expected."

That is what my hubby's doctor of over 30 yrs. before this one told us. If it wasn't for me he wouldn't be here now.

Thank God and some caring people I was able to continue. If you were close I could give you a couple of names. Our local nursing homes often have staff members who either “moon light” or want to cut back. By paying them under the table everyone wins. I actually had two contact me after dad spent some time in rehab. I also stayed a few hours in rehab so they could teach me tricks to changing sheets, moving him etc. if was a great help.
Two neighbors were LPNs and also taught and helped me. I always new they were close if I needed them.
Both stopped by on occasion so I could run an errand.

Obama, Hillary, Kerry, Rice, Brennan etc

They love to speak out against Trump, but fall completely silent when pro-Iran militias assault a US embassy

Why is that?— Jack Posobiec (@JackPosobiec) January 2, 2020
