>>Look - if this was anyone else but the Clintons
I know exactly what you’re saying. It’s crazy. It’s irrational. And yet it’s the first thing I think of before attempting to go back to rational.
I always tell people, once you take compiler design you should be multi-lingual. If you’re not you cheated to pass the course. :)
I never got to use LISP. Right now I’m doing a lot of Groovy, it’s a Java derivative. It’s awesome and very flexible. Used with Grails it’s potent.

I can code in AppleBasic :)
That’s the only official class I ever took. Was in HS in the mornings before classes for 6 weeks or so. It was fun I suppose.
I barely knew enough Basic to get by in my required CompSci class my Freshmen year in college.
I wish I had known more as it would have helped greatly in my Physics major and later in life.
Now I’m happy to be considered computer literate because I’m able to do Vlookup and pivot tables in Excel (LOL)
>>Right now Im doing a lot of Groovy
I am so out-of-date and so rusty that I creak bending over the keyboard. Once I left languages, I’m afraid I never looked back. Video caught my heart and soul and I was lost.
>>Basic...Physics major
Physics/Art History major here.
First book I ever wrote was a Basic manual for the college where I took my first masters. Turned a 1 year degree into 3 or 4 by doing a thesis to design a Backus Reduction Language into something you could teach grammar school kids. What a DISASTER! By 6th grade, you needed a PhD to code it.
My second masters was in computers, but I couldn’t force myself to take the PhD exam in languages after the PhD classes. Total exam terror. And I was working in that field at the time!
As much as I hated to I had to learn Java and then Groovy to stay employed and stay up to date. I prefer C#.
I just got done completely automating stress testing within the build process. Part of it is a Groovy script that fires off at the command line to load the resulting CSV data file into a database.
Very cool stuff.

Thanks for the info on death of “good” Epstein’s wife, Misti.
Let’s do unmarried young Christian women from the Philippines and Eastern Europe...

Absolutely! It can be such a high to get something like that working. Makes the exhaustion completely worth it.

Hmm.
“Loop” Capital? I don’t remember ‘link’.
>>unmarried young Christian women from the Philippines and Eastern Europe
Chicago had a HUGE Philippine population on the south side when I was growing up. They were often the nurses and doctors in our hospitals.

Good for Justice! Now back to getting more convictions.
Good night, Pete! Beautiful. Pelosi is not just a socialist, primarily she is a psychopathic crimional.

Yeh, sometimes a car accident is just an accident and a heart attack is just a heart attack. They can’t all be co-incidental deaths, but how likely that they are ALL homicides? How to know which is which?
You are correct. I got a Capital Link from MO. confused with Loop Capital. LOL
>>How to know which is which?
In the old days, you’d say “The Justice Department will figure it out and indict the right person.”
Today?
Right!
I picked up a patent in Electronic Warfare because I figured out that recursion with variable swap was the way to computationally solve a problem in antenna design. The government owns it but my name is on it.

My first reaction is, ‘DOJ has been changed’.
Then I look at the Flynn case and I can’t say that. The DOJ could just drop the case.

My faith in DOJ hangs on a very thin thread of whose strength I’m suspect.
