As much as I hated to I had to learn Java and then Groovy to stay employed and stay up to date. I prefer C#.
I just got done completely automating stress testing within the build process. Part of it is a Groovy script that fires off at the command line to load the resulting CSV data file into a database.
Very cool stuff.

Absolutely! It can be such a high to get something like that working. Makes the exhaustion completely worth it.
