When lefties ask, "How do you support Trump, or the NRA, the GOP, the 2nd Amendment, Right-Wing Talk Radio or watch FOX?" it’s important to not just answer their inquiry but to return fire with:
“How can you be a supporter of the Democratic Party since they are the party of slavery, Jim Crow, soft on crime, anti-school choice, never-ending welfare and government dependency?
"How can you ONLY watch CNN and MSNBC for news when they are known liars and virtually never apologize?
“How can you be a supporter of Islam since ... (too many things to list here)?
“How can you be a supporter of socialism when…?
“How can you be a supporter of Open Borders when…?
“How can you be a supporter of Minimum Wage laws…?
“How can you be a supporter of Raising Taxes when…?
“How can you be a supporter of Climate Change proposals when…?
(I'm sure you can add to this list)
“How can you be a supporter of homelessness, or any democrat candidate, when they’re turning the state of California into a literal toilet?”
My response to the ‘how can you?’ is:
I am a freedom loving, Communist hating, American military veteran.”

The premise of your post is perverted.
I don’t play the moral equivalency game since it is one of Alinsky’s key weapons for the left.
Instead say to them, “you are a moron for even asking a stupid question like that.” That is the biggest fear of liberals, being ridiculed. That’s why Trump is so effective.
I support DJT and 2nd Amendment because I love the Constitution as written.
I know that left-wingers love only the 14th Amendment (as misconstrued, of course) and maybe the Commerce Clause (also applied mistakenly).
I would want to trap the other party into disclosing their real position, which is that this country is illegitimate. Then the conversation is pretty much over. The conclusion is that the other party hates this country. Nothing more need be said.
How do you support the Democratic Party coming forward with such lousy Presidential candidates? Blame yourself for Trump, your Democrat candidate was worse. (Held nose in 2016 and voted for the least worst candidate.)

I thought the post was legit. I think we should always be refining our defense of the Constitution and righteousness.

The correct answer is: “I have been blessed with a brain that functions as its Designer intended.”

The reality is, we are all Americans. Some have drunk the koolaid, and some haven't. Some who have ingested the koolaid are friends and even family members. I prefer to engage with them as they're NOT enemies.
If I don't engage with them, they will view my inability to defend my position as a victory or worse: they will decide that my position is indefensible, and it will only serve to entrench their position.
Not everyone will I engage with. I try to pick my battles. For instance, I will almost NEVER engage at my place of business; there's simply no percentage in it.
“Well, I’m sure that you’re a tolerant, diverse, inclusive and multicultural person. So, I’ll just ask you to happily tolerate my perspectives.” Then give ‘em a big, warm smile.

I think the best question in response is, “What do you mean by that?” In this case, “What do you mean by asking such questions?” “Are you trying to demean me or trying to sure up your shaky worldview? Or are you truly searching for truth?” The best follow up is, “So how did you come to that conclusion?” Or in this case, “Why do you think that way? See, if you are asking to learn the truth, then let’s talk; else, I resent your question and your supercilious attitude.”
I ask them “do you hate him because he has more blacks and women working than any other president in history taking jobs from illegals? Or do you hate him because he hasn’t gotten us into a war yet?” Or do you hate him because he is exposing the left for the lying sacks of incompetent shit only the smart people knew about for decades?”
