I am about the same.

Usually between 4 and 5 hours.

And an afternoon nap.

Thanks to you and lysie, I have enough coffee for a week!

Oh, thank you! Now it finally makes sense. That’s probably what people meant when they were telling me not voted. And I kept asking why they weren’t voting, I thought it was that they were out of DC or something. Protesting. I’m glad they stuck together and all voted same. It’s usually the dentists that do that.

Great Rally! Trump wore me out, I ended up having to go to bed. It looks like being impeached makes him even more vigorous. The more they throw at him and more energy he gets to sling it back.

Mark R. Levin
@marklevinshow

1. Nancy Pelosi was apparently advised by leftwing Harvard law professor Lawrence Tribe to delay sending the impeachment to the Senate. So she’s unilaterally sitting on the impeachment. This is another brazen unconstitutional act.
7:55 AM · Dec 19, 2019·Twitter for Android

2. Here’s what Mitch McConnell and the Senate Republicans must do in response: The Senate has the sole power under the Constitution to adjudicate an impeachment. Therefore, Pelosi is attempting to obstruct the Senate’s power to act on its constitutional authority.

3. McConnell should immediately put an end to this and declare the impeachment null and void as the speaker has failed to complete the impeachment process by timely sending it to the Senate for adjudication.

4. McConnell has no less authority to unilaterally make such a decision than Pelosi does to withhold the administrative notification of an impeachment to the Senate either indefinitely or w/ conditions. Her effort to cripple the presidency & blackmail the Senate must be defeated.

“This is another brazen unconstitutional act.”

To bad she can’t be impeached for acting outside the Constitution. Reublicans need to double down that the whole thing was unconstitutional and violated Trump’s rights. The Independents need to hear that over and over.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/founding-member-of-house-freedom-caucus-mark-meadows-announces-retirement

“Representative Mark Meadows, a founder of the House Freedom Caucus and a leading House conservative, announced he will not seek another term in 2020.

“After prayerful consideration and discussion with family, today I’m announcing that my time serving Western North Carolina in Congress will come to a close at the end of this term,” Meadows said in an statement issued by a spokesman Thursday morning.

Meadows is close with President Trump and speaks with him regularly. He said in his statement he’ll continue to work with the president.

“My work with President Trump and his administration is only beginning,” Meadows said. “This President has accomplished incredible results for the country in just 3 years, and I’m fully committed to staying in the fight with him and his team to build on those successes and deliver on his promises for the years to come. I’ve always said Congress is a temporary job, but the fight to return Washington, D.C. to its rightful owner, We The People, has only just begun.”

Meadows took office in January 2013 as part of a class of freshmen elected with the help of the Tea Party movement. For the past two years, he was chairman of the rebel Freedom Caucus, a faction of conservatives who frequently bucked the GOP leadership on spending and other key legislation in effort to make measures more conservative.”

“5/ It is Constitutional DUTY of US Supreme Court to immediately intervene in dispute between Legislative & Executive branches over impeachment process arising from articles passed today by House to impeach @realDonaldTrump. Articles issued must now be tried & resolved by Senate”

Thank you for posting that list. I’m glad to know the Dems can’t just sit on it in order to say he was never acquitted.

I would like your opinion. I keep reading another threads that McConnell should just declare him acquitted and not go to trial. But doesn’t he have the right to face his accusers? And to a speedy and public trial?

I’m thinking it would be better to get everything out in the open, that they have no evidence, who lied, who violated the law, and take everybody down that gets in the way. Republicans included. (Since Lindsey Graham seems to be dirty). It would be good to show that the Democrats are doing exactly what they accuse Trump of doing.

What do you think?

Thanks, got it set to tape.

Oh wait, there’s no tape involved. I also still say I dialed the phone. Now I get why my grandmother kept talking about ice boxes.

Sad news indeed. We need those active and solid members of the House Freedom Caucus.

But I love how he says that serving in Congress should be a temporary job. So many of them need to go, they just get rich destroying the country.
