We were given broad access to relevant materials by the Department and the FBI.
In addition, we reviewed relevant information that other U.S. government agencies provided the FBI in the course of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

However, because the activities of other agencies are outside our jurisdiction, we did not seek to obtain records from them that the FBI never received or reviewed, except for a limited amount of State Department records relating to Steele; we also did not seek to assess any actions other agencies may have taken.
Additionally, our review did not independently seek to determine whether corroboration existed for the Steele election reporting;

rather, our review was focused on information that was available to the FBI concerning Steele's reports prior to and during the pendency of the Carter Page FISA authority.

The FBI overstated Steele's importance to the FISA court and didn't follow the Wood's procedures by getting those statements approved by Steele's handler.

The Crossfire Hurricane hid information from the Department officials signing off on the FIRST FISA application, information they had in their possession at the time the application was filed.

The FBI omitted information they had from another government agency that Carter Page was the opposite of a Russian asset and instead had notified that other agency of Russian intelligence officers contacts with him. There's no way they'd get a FISA while including this info.

I'm having a hard time just getting thru the methodology...

stunning in twisted logic here:

We found no evidence that the FBI used CHSs or UCEs to interact with members of the Trump campaign prior to the opening of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

After the opening of the investigation, we found no evidence that the FBI placed any CHSs or UCEs within the Trump campaign or tasked any CHSs or UCEs to report on the Trump campaign.

Finally, we also found no documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivations influenced the FBI's decision to use CHSs or UCEs to interact with Trump campaign officials in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

-> we didn't place the snitches nor did we ask them to report and when we did place them no bias influenced the decision to use the snitches...got it.

We found that the Crossfire Hurricane team made no use of any information collected from the high-level Trump campaign official, because the team determined that none of the information gathered was "germane" to the allegations under investigation.
