This past weekend, former U.S. Navy Commander David Fravor was a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. Fravor, who was the subject of a New York Times article about his 2004 UFO sighting, discussed a spooky new sighting a fellow pilot revealed to him after they were both out of the Navy.
According to Fravor, the eyewitness was a former pilot of the MH-53E Sea Dragon, the Navy version of the Marine Corps CH-53E Sea Stallion, based at Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, on the island of Puerto Rico. Twice while recovering spent practice munitions out of the water, the pilot spotted a weird underwater object.
In the first incident, the pilot saw a dark mass underwater as he and his team retrieved a flying practice drone. The pilot described the object as a big mass, kinda circular, and he was certain it wasn't a submarine. In the pilots second sighting, a practice torpedo that the pilot was sent to recover was sucked down into the depths of the ocean in the presence of a similar underwater object. The torpedo was never seen again.
Elsewhere in the interview, Fravor reveals that a 79-year-old woman contacted him after his sighting went public. The woman explained that her father, a naval officer, was at one time based at the naval station in San Francisco in the 1950s. When she was a child, her father showed her a telegram that stated unidentified objects had been sighted going in and out of the water at a now forgotten set of latitude and longitude coordinates. The womans father told her, We get these all the time, and its always in the same area.

When did Popular Mechanics go woo?
What is Nessee planning to do with a torpedo?
I think I remember Science and Mechanics magazine telling the same tall tales 50 years ago.
The old girl gets lonely sometimes.
Many of the bases are underwater and the UFO’s are called USO’s when they hit the water. They travel has fast under the water as above. No resistance for them.
*Imaginary Lover for Nessy.

Thanks.
I always thought Pop Mech was more serious, but I didn’t really read it.
Culebra Is was the gunnery range area,
Check the depth of the water. I know there is extensive coral
I watched that podcast a few nights ago.
I watched a video a few years ago of an aerospace artist talking about an aircraft he was shown in a hangar on the old George AFB. He showed drawings of a diamond shaped “craft” with many small holes along one of the edges. They were part of the propulsion system. Wish I had bookmarked it...
NO but im sure you have.
Flashy-thingy time.

The Shag Harbour UFO(USO) incident was the reported impact of an unknown large object into waters near Shag Harbour, a tiny fishing village in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia on October 4, 1967. The reports were investigated by various civilian (Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Canadian Coast Guard) and military (Royal Canadian Navy and Royal Canadian Air Force) agencies of the Government of Canada and the U.S. Condon Committee. The Canadian government declared that no known aircraft was involved and the source of the impact remains unknown to this day.
The craft was reported to be about 60 feet (18 m) long. It was reported to have been hovering and flashing orange lights, then it tilted at about a 45-degree angle and entered the water. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police were notified about the incident. A yellow light was reported in the water moving and leaving a trail of yellow foam. The Canadian Coast Guard was dispatched but by the time they arrived along with other vessels at the point of entry the yellow foam was all that remained.
don’t worry its just more swamp gas.....
It was prolly piloted by some of the ‘lizard people’ too, I’m sure.
USO was encountered by the USS Nimitz also,November 14, 2004.
You can read it here:
“Two fighters were diverted to intercept one of the strange objects. When they first arrived on the scene, the pilots didnt see any flying objects. But they did observe what the lead pilot, Commander David Fravor, later referred to as a disturbance in the ocean. The water was churning, with white waves breaking over what looked like a large object just under the surface.”

He’s clearly had one too many anal probes.
My Dad (a WWII Veteran) told of an incident that happened back then...While on the troop transport ship that was crossing the Atlantic that he was on a round, lighted object as wide as the ship was long came up under the ship...Was witnessed by a massive group of soldiers who were on deck...
