Physicists Wonder: Why Has No One Been Killed by Dark Matter?
Gizmodo ^ | July 17, 2019 | Ryan F. Mandelbaum

The fact that no one has died from being struck by dark matter is enough proof to rule out certain ideas about the mysterious stuff, according to one new theory paper.

There’s a conundrum facing physicists: Most of the universe’s mass appears to be missing, based on observations of the universe’s structure, how galaxies move, and how they seem to warp distant light. Thousands of physicists are now hunting for what might be producing these effects. But the mere fact that we’re alive here on Earth can offer some insight as to what dark matter isn’t, and the researchers behind the new paper say the human body itself can serve as a dark matter detector.

Actually, I was just reading this:

https://www.nytimes.com/1997/07/22/science/far-apart-2-particles-respond-faster-than-light.html

Quantum electrodynamics and the Fynman illustration. Once two particles are “entangled”, they can be millions of light years apart and the response of one will be instantly copied in the other.

We really to live in a “projection”, in which our consciousness is insterted. There is a LOT more going on than science can tell us, and the bible refuses to tell us, just as it refused to tell Moses about the atom. And yet it does. It clearly says that God is light. And the more we understand of reality, the more amazing that statement is.

This is a nice rundown: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFS4oiVDeBI

As I watched that I saw exposure of “how God did it” and what God is working with. I saw His fingerprints all over everything.

It’s something that isn’t there, but you can’t see it.

I often remind myself how limited our abilities to understand the world are by imagining how unaware of our presence and power a low level organism such as an amoeba must be.

Could it be that we are just amoebas at a somewhat higher awareness level with a whole world inaccessible to our 5 senses and limited brain?

In my mind that is much more likely than the likelyhood that we are the ultimate lifeform capable of sensing and understanding the whole universe.

That’s my take as well.

When I come across an atheist that thinks they are so smart, I say to them, you may be the smartest ant on the ant hill, but you are still just an ant. Only other ants are impressed.

“Physicists Wonder: Why Has No One Been Killed by Dark Matter?”

Gonna need another 10 million dollar grant to figure it out.

If it’s ‘dark’ it’s racist to ask... even racist to think about the possibility... you must be a racist - like the other 65 million of us.

Five years and $59 million later the report will be, “How to protect yourself from dark matter.”

I have noticed the dark matter seems to come in each evening and leave each morning. It is apparently repelled by the big ball of light.

Not only does dark matter not kill us, it doesn’t even affect our hair!

(adaptation of a t-shirt I saw once which said “if Earth is really hurtling through space at 19,000 mph, why doesn’t it affect our hair?”)

Dark Matter is the physicist equivalent of "Magic happens at this step" that Chemistry professors use when your chem equations are not in enough detail.

There's more evidence for God than there is for dark matter.
