Wait...what? Never mind.

Cool, but it’s potential applications seem limited. I would like one to clean the windows and gutters, and to trim tree branches.

Very nice... In the spirit of the Montgolfieres and on Bastille day. France, you are like our first love. We hate you, but we love you.

Sweet. Kinda like skeet but with frogs as the targets.
This could become an Olympic Sport.

Now THAT is the way I’d like to commute! 6 minutes each way, plus I could avoid dodgem/revenue enhancement with the po-po.

I have a suggestion for anyone here who really, really wants to kill or severely maim himself: just get on a motorcycle that doesn’t have a fairing, get it up tp 90 mph, and try, just try to stand up on the foot pegs without being torn off by the wind. You couldn’t do it. The force of the wind increases exponentially as your speed increases. That force will keep anybody from flying this invention at any speed much over 35 or 40 mph.

over 35 or 40 mph. This guy can go 200km/h. That's probably 300 or 400 mph converted.

That thing has got to be loud, so no stealthy assault.
I see shotguns making a comeback into the infantry arsenal.

200km/h. That's probably 300 or 400 mph converted. A kilometer is over half a mile, so it would convert to something closer to 100 mph.

I don’t deny that his invention can achieve that speed. I do deny that, standing on it, he or anybody else, could either stay on it or control it. Long ago, in my younger years I had a BMW R74/5 motorcycle. If, without a fairing, I even got it up to 60 mph, it became very hard to control because of the terrific force of the wind. Same thing’s going to happen to him as he increases his speed. If you don’t believe me, just try standing outside in a hurricane and see what happens.
