I just got a call from Windflier's wife, he has taken
a downturn from a pre-existing problem and is pretty
much bedridden and not eating.
He has stage 4 Squamous cell carcinoma which I had to look up:
Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the second most
common form of skin cancer. It's usually found on
areas of the body damaged by UV rays from the sun or
tanning beds. Sun-exposed skin includes the head,
neck, chest, upper back, ears, lips, arms, legs, and
hands. SCC is a fairly slow-growing skin cancer.
I'm told he's in good spirits but is now "resistant"
to further medical treatment. Because he's stubborn.
Prayers for him and the family would be appreciated.
Thanks very much.
Here he is during better days:
Thank you, brother dawg. Woof!
Prayers for Windflier and his loved ones!
Prayers for windflier, libertybel and the boys.
Prayers sent.
This seems during as we just calibrated Easter Sunday
Peter 2:24 tells us that Jesus bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness then Peter says And by whose stripes YOU were healed.
Amen
Thank you, buddy. I promise we’ll go shooting again.
Nice picture.
Prayers for windflier,
all those struggling with cancer and all
those caring for them.
We are going to the wake this afternoon for
my sister Flo, who just lost her battle
last Friday, please
keep her in your prayers as well.

Anytime My Friend.
Prayers up for him and his family.
“Mohs surgery took care of it, but the dermatologist said inaction can still be dangerous.”
I had Mohs on my beak a few years ago with immediate reconstructive surgery. Now, you can’t tell anything was done. Was the basal cell variety. Key is to get checked by good dermatologist at least once a year or sooner if you discover new skin issues. Not fun but not horrible by any stretch.
You are held in my thoughts and prayers.

I look forward to it.
Speedy recovery my friend.
Man, you’d better get better!!!
:^) You got me worried over here...
You are a good man Windflier and here’s to your full recovery. Godspeed.
*Gentle hug*
You ar so welcome!
Mr B is a cancer survivor (Thank you, Lord!)\so I have a pretty good idea of how you are feeling and the toll that it takes.
Please, PLEASE try to eat!
If you cannot, then try some Boost shakes.
I had to drink them after being so ill a few years ago.
The chocolate ones aren’t too bad, if they are kept really cold!
Thank you so much.
