Popeyes Made 'Emotional Support Chicken' to Make Holiday Travel Better
Chicken makes everything okay.

According to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), Popeyes is responsible for the slaughter of millions of chicken each year. PETA took aim at the popular food chain after they released an “Emotional Support Chicken” Tuesday to “provide a good-hearted laugh most need to get through stressful holiday air travel.”
Travelers at Philadelphia International Airport can purchase their meal with the special “Emotional Support Chicken” carrier in Terminal C.
“We know holiday travel can be frustrating, and there’s no better way to ease stress than with a box of delicious Popeyes fried chicken and a good laugh,” said Hope Diaz, CMO of Popeyes. “We appreciate how comforting emotional support animals are and wanted to create our own version. The good news is that our emotional support chicken is permitted to fly without any restrictions – one less worry for busy travelers!”
But PETA isn’t laughing.
“#Popeyes is selling boxes of dead ’emotional support chickens’ for the holidays, proving they’re not above mocking mental illness AND animals who died gruesome deaths. This is what the box would look like if it told the truth about what goes into their food,” the organization tweeted on Wednesday.

The local Popeye’s is across the driveway from a Chick-fil-A.
Haven’t been to that Popeye’s since the Chick-fil-A opened.

I called Popeyes in the next town over and they thought I was either spoofing them or crazy but the manager called me back just now laughing and OK you are not crazy. Unfortunately the only place this is available is the Philadelphia airport.

I gave up Churches when they went Jihad on their menu back in 2005. But if you like to eat halal, I'm not going to stand in your way. Just remember to mutter In'shallah before you dig in, even though a Jewish firm bought out the 'rabs a few years ago.
going to pick me up some emotional support chickens . I hope to use the law that forces businesses to allow service animals into restaurant’s and other places to get my chicken into the local movie theater. they serve Nathen hotdogs and flechetas pizza but they just don’t provide the proper emotional support that the chicken does.
wonder if you could get that on Southwest flight- although might trigger some of the more sensitive passengers
