Didn’t do the back porch this year. And have had to cut back on baking because of not having a working range and dishwasher. Will end up with about 24 batches Way back from the 30-45 that was customary. Nine finished. Hopefully will do the rest by Wednesday.

We have had the nicest get togethers this year! It’s been a real joy!

I was just thinking of this phrase from “O Holy Night”:

“Long lay the world in sin and error pining till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.”

So many people today don’t know or feel the worth of their souls.

All the more reason to pray without ceasing!

I am happy to see a video with PDJT’s remarks. I do wish he would get control of the cameras at his events. The cameras must have been very low since the backs of the heads of a few rows of guests were taking up 1/3 of the screen the entire video. Much of the time a guest had his hands up in the air holding a phone. It’s halfway through PDJT’s Administration. At least I didn’t hear the loud clacking of the hostile press’s still cameras. I must be very easily distracted.

When preparing the service to decorate our church I read many meditation.
One emphasized the preparation is threefold
Preparation for the birth of Christ
The return of Christ
And one we often forget prepare each day to receive Christ in our heart. It’s much like the Dickens quote from Christmas Carol. “ I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year!”

My new appliances (and baseboard heat) are the results of a power surge/ice Storm. —
Appliances were just 5-6 years old. Have still not found an electrician to work on baseboard. Have purchased a new thermostat

Its like our Pastor is reading our thread each week. We had a sermon on patience a couple weeks ago. Yesterday the sermon was on anxiety...LOL.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”....—Philippians 4:6-7

He used his example that Christmas was only 10 days away and he hadn't shopped for his wife's gift yet. He was very anxious.

Yes, the House is the Democrat's and even though we have the Senate we have DS Senators who would like noting better than to return to the old Global state and take down our President. We have each other for support and strength to stand by our President.
