I was just thinking of this phrase from “O Holy Night”:
“Long lay the world in sin and error pining till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.”
So many people today don’t know or feel the worth of their souls.
All the more reason to pray without ceasing!

When preparing the service to decorate our church I read many meditation.
One emphasized the preparation is threefold
Preparation for the birth of Christ
The return of Christ
And one we often forget prepare each day to receive Christ in our heart. It’s much like the Dickens quote from Christmas Carol. “ I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year!”
My new appliances (and baseboard heat) are the results of a power surge/ice Storm. —
Appliances were just 5-6 years old. Have still not found an electrician to work on baseboard. Have purchased a new thermostat
