(AP) Nairobi, Nigeria -- Prince Alab Swalahari was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his palace in Nairobi on Tuesday. A note next to his body stated that he was despondent that no one would accept his attempt to give away his vast riches.
His brother explained, "Alab had converted to Christianity quite some time ago. All he was trying to do was live a Christ-like life! Christ commands us to give our money to the poor. He tried for over 15 years, sending people emails to give away his money, but all he got back was mockery and hate. I guess it finally became too much for him."
Swalahari had recently been the target of a United States-initiated FBI investigation, and Interpol was scheduled to interview him a few days before his suicide.
Said his mother, "I am so incredibly sad. My son! All he was trying to do was give away his money, and the world would not believe him! Why are people so cruel?"
The fortune Swalahari was attempting to give away totaled more than 46 billion Naira, which is approximately 127 million dollars in United States currency. His lawyer remarked, "Obviously there would be some fees for transfer of this large amount of money, but when we asked for the few thousand dollars to make the transfer happen, not one person was willing to do it..... and several dozen people even contacted the authorities!"
Funeral arrangements will be held at Kenyatta Funeral Parlour, 128 Thiika Hwy South, this coming Wednesday.

Dear Mr. Mataz. I hope this email finds you well and comfortable and generally okey-dokey. And I hope you intend to stay that way.
The letter from your lawyer was forwarded it to my lawyer whom sent it on to his lawyer. It was decided to engage the help of some very kind and favored gentlemen who have helped and assisted financial problems such as this with firms and individuals like the Democratic national convention and a Mr. BJ and Mrs. HR Clinton. This very fine organization has had great success in transferring large sums of money in and out of the country. Unfortunately there have been some unsatisfied clients who have failed to cooperate. Seth Rich for example is not available for comment. There is hope and pray and trust that you will also not be an unsatisfied client.
Therefore it is hoped and requested that in order to get your $3.6 million we decided to set up a Go Fund Me Account for your simplicity.

Blessings on you and your goats.
Mrs Hakanawki.
I see a Dr Phil episode in this story........
Oh no! You mean I’m not going to get the gazillion dollars that I was promised? I am so ticked off. LOL
Seriously though if this is true, it is quite strange that no one wanted to accept his funds after his death. In my experience that’s all the relatives want. After, of course the requisite crying. LOL
Yes, we all certainly sure in the blame for this tragic loss. By the way, mv, you have got to be a mathatamation.
And Laz, I heard these commercials all the time about some business run by a guy named Laz. Are you sure you don’t live in Ottawa no sorry Chicago? I listen to it on my radio on my tablet it’s so funny whenever I hear that commercial I think of you. Thanks for posting your odd stories! Lol

FB should be sued. They’re becoming common carriers and should not be allowed to post crap like that. I hope your dad is okay. Makes me happy that my dad could never figure out a computer may he rest in peace.

I’m glad the bassturd offed himself.
After almost 6 years of exchanging emails with him and him assuring me the check would be in the mail by the end of the month I got suspicious.
Finally in October I realized he was scamming me when for the 44th time the check didn’t arrive.
You just can’t trust anyone anymore.
Next it will be Kenneth Copeland, Benny Henn, Joel Olstein, etc...That will commit suicide trying to give away their wealth.
Let’s ask our former president....
TC, I think this is one giant joke.:-) I hope you both have a great weekend. And by the way TC I don’t know what quarter it is but it sounds like you’ve been working a bit too hard. :-)
I’m going to start a go fund me page. Because I want someone to fund me. LOL
You gotta know then that anything that ole Latz posts should be taken with a heavy dose of salt... He is the FR resident crown prince of humour and general all around horn dog.
First, nobody reads articles before they post. Second yes it absolutely should be in breaking news.. LOL and I can say that without even having read the article. :-)
