In a bombshell story that dates back to September 2017, three current and former U.S. military personnel are under investigation by a myriad of U.S. government agencies and Congressional offices, the Office of the Special Counsel (Robert Mueller), and various media outlets including CNN, MSNBC, and even Fox News.
Details of the story have been breaking overnight in the U.S. The three men are accused of traveling to a former Soviet republic in Asia over a period from September to December of 2017, collaborating with Russian military officials at a secret military installation, and assisting the Russians in a mission that involved an ongoing global surveillance effort through February of 2018. Their work allegedly involved the extensive use of Russian military hardware to access sensitive U.S. military and civilian assets. Communications between various members of the team refer to a cryptic code name for the mission: Expedition 54.
Sources tell the U.S. media that the mission involved three American military personnel, two Russians, and one Japanese national.
The three American men have been identified as Joseph M. Acaba of Inglewood, California (U.S. Marine Corps Reserves); Mark Vande Hei of Falls Church, Virginia (U.S. Army); and Scott Tingle of Attleboro, Massachusetts (U.S. Navy).
A flurry of public statements have been made by the various American leaders and media commentators who are covering the story.
"These men must appreciate that Russia is not our ally. There is no moral equivalence between the United States and Russia, which remains hostile to our most basic values and ideals. The United States must be focused on holding Russia accountable and putting an end to its vile attacks on democracy." -- Paul Ryan, U.S. Speaker of the House of Representatives
"Seriously -- what does Putin have on these three men that made them do this? -- Nancy Pelosi, House Minority Leader
"This incident rises to & exceeds the threshold of 'high crimes & misdemeanors.' It was nothing short of treasonous." -- Former CIA director John Brennan
"This incident will be seen by Russia as a sign of weakness and create far more problems than it solves." -- U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-Saudi Arabia)
"No mission is worth throwing your own people and country under the bus." -- Abby Huntsman, Fox News host and daughter of U.S. Ambassador to Russia
"You have been watching perhaps one of the most disgraceful performances by the U.S. military certainly than Ive ever seen." -- Anderson Pooper, CNN
"U.S. military personnel on Russian soil talking to our biggest enemy, or adversary, or competitor ... is essentially letting them get away with this. That sets us back a lot." -- Neil Cavuto, Fox News
The most serious allegation against the three men is that they actually reported to a Russian military officer during the course of their mission -- a remarkable turn of events in the history of U.S.-Russian relations. This officer has been identified as Commander Alexander Misurkin.
The Office of the Special Counsel had no public comment on the matter. Curiously, there was no press conference called by the U.S. Dept. of Justice to announce any indictments in advance of President Trump's summit meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin in Helsinki this week. Predictably, there were howls of outrage from Democrats and #NeverTrump Republicans all day -- criticizing President Trump for failing to take Putin to task over the incident, and for suggesting that the U.S. shared the blame in this hostile surveillance activity.
Legal scholars weighed in on the potential courses of action for the U.S. Justice Department, the Office of the Special Counsel, and Congress. Some suggested that the Americans should be subject to military courts-martial, while others believed they should be called before Robert Mueller's team to testify about what the Trump administration knew about their activities.
"I'm not sure why they'd need a subpoena to find out what those guys were up to," one administration official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorized to discuss the matter.
"All of this information is posted on NASA's website," he said.
The official refused to confirm or deny rumors that no action has been taken in the matter because the U.S. Justice Department still hasn't confirmed the identity of the three Americans involved in this clandestine mission, even though their names and photos are prominently shown on the materials that their leaders have posted all over the internet.

Would be funnier if not so believable.
Oh, very good!

From New York Post
The corporate owners of the Mandalay Bay casino filed suit against the victims of last years Las Vegas concert mass shooting, claiming it has no liability for the massacre, according to a published report on Monday.
MGM Resorts International went to federal courts in Nevada and California and took on more than 1,000 shooting victims, saying claims against the hotel giant must be dismissed....
Las Vegas lawyer Robert Eglet, who is representing several victims, told the paper that the hotels unusual action is a pre-emptive strike to get the cases heard in federal court instead of state court. Englet said MGM must believe it has better chances of victory in a federal case...
Ive never seen a more outrageous thing, where they sue the victims in an effort to find a judge they like, the lawyer continued. Its just really sad that they would stoop to this level....

Clinton Involved in Biggest Treason in History
Kevin Shipp / usawatchdog.com ^ | 7/15/2018 | greg hunter / fr Posted on 7/15/2018, 2:07:14 PM by bitt
Former CIA Officer and whistleblower Kevin Shipp says what Hillary Clinton did with her charity and Uranium One while she was Secretary of State was a crime for the history books. Shipp explains, Hillary Clinton used this to launder money in foreign banks so it wasnt subject to U.S. laws, congressional subpoenas or FOIA demands for the evidence. This was done to launder this money globally into the Clinton Foundation so the U.S. government could not examine it at all. Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller was the head of the FBI while the Uranium One deal was being done by Clinton and the Russians. One fifth of U.S. uranium production was bought by the Russians in a deal Clinton pushed and approved. The Clinton Foundation received more than $140 million from some of the same Russian players who were involved with Uranium One. Why didnt Mueller stop the deal? Shipp says, Mueller is either a complete moron, which he is not, or he overlooked the biggest counter-terrorism cases in U.S. history. It involved Hillary Clinton, the Clinton Foundation, Uranium One and, of course, the destruction of all the emails and evidence and her secret server, and on and on and on it goes, and he (Mueller) ignored it all. Clinton Foundation’s Dealings with Russian Uranium
Independent Journal Review ^ | April 2015 | Michael Hausum
FR Posted by Beautiful_Gracious_Skies
The New York Times on Thursday [April 2015] published an article about the Clinton Foundation, its receipt of millions of dollars from foreign governments and other interests, and the U.S. government’s involvement in Russia’s stated goal to expand its control of the world’s uranium market.
All while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.
The NY Times didn’t reach a conclusion, but one question looms very large: As Secretary of State, did Hillary influence an international deal giving a Russian company 20% ownership of America’s uranium production, in return for millions of dollars of cash donations to the Clinton Foundation?
Here is a list of 11 questionable items forming a chain of events:
1. September of 2005: Canadian Frank Giustra visits Kazakhstan with Bill Clinton. Days later, his company UrAsia wins a major uranium deal with the country.
2, 2006: Giustra donates $31 million to the Clinton Foundation.
3. February 2007: UrAsia merges with Uranium One and expands into the U.S..
4. June 2008: Russian atomic agency Rosatom begins talks to acquire Uranium One.
5. 2008 to 2010: Uranium One and UrAsia investors donate $8.65 million to Clinton Foundation.
6. June 2009: Rosatom acquires 17% of Uranium One.
7. 2010 to 2011: Millions more donated by Uranium One investors to Clinton Foundation.
8. June 2010: Rosatom requests Committee on Foreign Investment (of which the State Department is a member and its approval is needed) to approve a majority ownership in Uranium One, PROMISING NOT TO PURCHASE 100% of it, NOR TAKE IT PRIVATE.
9. June 2010: Bill Clinton receives $500,000 to speak at a conference held by the Russian investment bank involved in the Rosatom transactions.
10. October 2010: Committee APPROVES Rosatom’s request to ACQUIRE A MAJORITY SHARE in Uranium One.
11. January 2013: Rosatom PURCHASES REMAINDER of Uranium One and takes it PRIVATE!.
>>The origins of the story were reported in the NY Times in 2008 by Jo Becker, a co-author of the recent NYT piece:
Unlike established competitors, Mr. Giustra was a newcomer to uranium mining in Kazakhstan, a former Soviet republic. But what his fledgling company lacked in experience, it made up for in connections. Accompanying Giustra on his luxuriously appointed MD-87 jet that day was a former president of the United States, Bill Clinton....
Within two days, corporate records show that Mr. Giustra also came up a winner when his company signed preliminary agreements giving it the right to buy into three uranium projects controlled by Kazakhstans state-owned uranium agency, Kazatomprom.
The monster deal stunned the mining industry, turning an unknown shell company into one of the worlds largest uranium producers in a transaction ultimately worth tens of millions of dollars to Mr. Giustra, analysts said.
Just months after the Kazakh pact was finalized, Mr. CLINTON’S charitable foundation received its own windfall: a $31.3 MILLION DONATION FROM MR. GUISTRA that had remained a SECRET until he acknowledged it last month.
There are intricacies and subtleties to this story that aren’t evident in the timeline.
For example, when Hillary assumed the job as Secretary of State, she assented to a limitation of the foundation’s international activities and agreed to disclose contributors. It appears, at a minimum, there was incomplete follow-through upon these assurances. Furthermore, those involved in the transactions have denied that any special privileges were sought and that the donations were completely unrelated.
Thanks, that was great.

(hat tip demsux) .....that UTAH AG, the one Sessions appointed (and can seat a grand jury)
just so happens to be in the jurisdiction where much of the Clintons' Uranium One deal was centered.
Longshot, but THAT UTAH GUY could nab even MUELLER and cancel the insurance policy.........

Utah town and mill part of sales pkg to subsidiary of Russian nuclear agency
By Judy Fahys / The Salt Lake Tribune / December 13, 2010 / FR Posted on 4/3/2018, 11:52:50 AM by bitt
A Canadian mining company is close to finalizing a deal that will give a Russian company controlling interest in its uranium operations, which include a Utah town, a uranium mill and thousands of acres of claims.
In October, four members of Congress urged the U.S. Treasury Department to block plans by Uranium One to sell majority ownership to the mining company, Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ), whose parent company is Rosatom, the Russian nuclear agency, to protect national security.
Well done! Amazing that certain voters miss the obvious.
But, did they have “intent”? That’s the ‘new’ NEW bar, yes?
(Not that destroying govt property w/ hammers, deleting subpoenaed documents, or even RUNNING an illegal server constitute ‘intent’ these days...)
Where are Molotov and Ribbentrop when you need them?
I hate to say it, but you should put a /s on the title, because some people (as we can see here) never read more than the headline and never even bothered to look at the photo and “get” the joke.
our country has gone around the bend and is in a pure propaganda effort these days. An orwellian-stalinist nightmare.
your post is more truthful than it seems with the histrionics we are seeing from the Left.
Bet they started working with the russians while Obambi was still POS-POTUS
LOL. I tried to warn people by putting “Humor” and “Vanity” in the topics and keywords, but you’re right ... I should have added “PARODY” to the title.
And didn’t the “Anderson Pooper” and “Senator Lindsey Graham (R-Saudi Arabia) give it away? LOL.
