Very sad, met her briefly a few years back. Nice lady. It seems these mental issues and drugs claim so many.

At least Carrie had a fun BBT appearance.

So sad.

God bless Margot who has finally been released from her personal demons.

Prayers for her daughter and family and friends who will mourn her.

She seemed decent enough.

I did think she was the weakest Lois Lane. Both of the TV Lois Lanes of the 50s era show were better. I was not crazy over the one in “Lois and Clark” tho she was certainly pretty.

The one in “Smallville” was OK. Probably would have liked her in person but they wrote her character as a little too brusque.

Back in the mid 1990s when her mental health issues made the news, somebody I knew at work at the time recalled an instance some years earlier in the 1980s when he went to a rock concert and saw and recognized her a short distance away from where he was sitting and she was very striking and attractive in her appearance even in casual dress. Kind of one of those “Holy sh$t, it’s...” moments, I guess.

R.I.P.

She was good in Superman and the Reincarnation of Peter Proud (w/Michael Sarrazin). However, she played a horrid, incestuous mother in an episode of Law and Order SVU.

That is a long life for bipolar, sad to say. RIP.

My SIL only made it to her mid 50s. She had many suicide attempts but didn’t die by her own hand, probably from all the meds for all kinds of disorders she had. She was on everything a doc could prescribe.

It’s not a fun illness and I am sad for two of my kids that they have a bio aunt with those genes, praying they are spared.

She had a pretty rough life in later years, drug-addicted and homeless...
