That is a long life for bipolar, sad to say. RIP.

My SIL only made it to her mid 50s. She had many suicide attempts but didn’t die by her own hand, probably from all the meds for all kinds of disorders she had. She was on everything a doc could prescribe.

It’s not a fun illness and I am sad for two of my kids that they have a bio aunt with those genes, praying they are spared.

A close friend's son only made it to 30.....The daughter suffers from it too and she's a mess.......It's a horrible disease and unfortunately most people don't understand it

As a side note, there is a genetic history in my friend's family since his father suffered from periods of what was once just considered "depression" as did my friend.

I have a buddy at work who’s ex-wife is bi-polar. Trains chase her, and currently the FBI is videoing and recording her and everything my buddy does according to her. He escaped but not after the legal system tore him a new one for this witch. Within six months to a year she will be walking the streets dead broke. Sad, because when she is on her medication she is pleasant and can be a striking woman.
